#3rd_Year:
👉 The Economics course has been postponed to the 4th year. Instead, you will take Linear Algebra this semester with the 2nd-year students.
💥For students who elected Java but don’t see it on the registration form, this is because it was chosen by minor students. However, there is a possibility of taking it with CSE students by adding the course. This issue will be resolved and decided later. For now, just register for the courses that are offered.
#4th_Year:
‼️Don't forget to tick Integrated Circuit Technology.

Important Information for 3rd-Year Students About Major Elective Courses
Dear Students,
As many of you have asked about your next semester's Major Elective course, we’d like to clarify a few points to guide you in making your decision.
1. What is a Major Elective?
- A Major Elective allows you to choose one course from two options offered. This gives you a chance to focus on a subject that interests you.
- For a Major Elective to be accepted, a minimum of 15 students must enroll in the course.
2. Instructor Availability:
- Even if at least 15 students choose a course, it will only be offered if a qualified instructor is available. If no instructor is available, all students will take the course chosen by the majority.
3. Previous Year Experiences by Department:
🛰ECE Department:
- Courses Offered: Microelectronics Devices and Optoelectronics.
- Last year, Microelectronics Devices was the only option, as Optoelectronics wasn’t available. Microelectronics Devices was considered a straightforward course, and all students took it.
💻CSE Department:
- Courses Offered: Object-Oriented Programming (Java) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
👩💻Object-Oriented Programming (Java): 15 students took this course. It focuses on programming skills and includes a final project.
💠 Artificial Intelligence (AI):Most students opted for this course because it is theory-based and considered simpler. It also aligns with emerging technology trends.
💥Power Department:
- Courses Offered: Introduction to Electrical Machines I and Introduction to Control Systems.
- Last year, no students chose Introduction to Electrical Machines I. All students took Introduction to Control Systems, which was simpler and primarily theory-based, with fewer complex mathematical problems. This course is recommended if you’re unsure, as neither is mandatory for your major.
- If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to contact us.
