Ayse Amal Se Sawab Nahi Milta Balki Insaan Gunehgaar Hota Hai Aur Kai Logon Ki Gumraahi Ka Sabab Banta Hai Kyuki Is Tarah Ka Amal Na Nabi ﷺ Se Sabit Hai , Na Kisi Sahaba Se Aur Na Kisi Salaf Se . Aur Nabi ﷺ Ne Farmaya:- JIS KISI NE AYSA AMAL KIYA JISPAR HAMARA QAUL WA AMAL NAHIN TOH WO AMAL MARDOOD HAI !!! Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (رحمه الله ) said: Because of the killing of al-Husayn (رضي الله عنه ), shaytaan caused the people to introduce two innovations: ▪️1️⃣) the innovation of mourning and wailing on the day of ‘Ashoora’, by slapping the cheeks, weeping, and reciting eulogies. 2️⃣) and the innovation of rejoicing and celebrating. So some introduced mourning and others introduced celebration, so they regarded the day of ‘Ashoora’ as a day for wearing kohl, doing ghusl, spending on the family and making special foods. ▪️And every innovation is a going astray. None of the four imams of the Muslims or any other (scholars) regarded either of these things as mustahabb. End quote from Minhaaj al-Sunnah (4/554).
