I've been very busy with work and I haven't been anywhere! So here's some campaign updates at least! My character Beiro and Aramyon's character Seilel have got themselves into trouble! They're captured and are being held in a castle. So, we have to play other characters from their backstories for now and try to go and save them with the rest of the #GATT members! This is Voryn, A drow artificer. He's nerdy, tall, and a little autistic. I invite Aramyon to talk a bit more about him later if she wants. XD #DnD #thegoliathandthetwinks

Let us not forget what day it is today:

رقص صوفیان، سمإ، سماع، نیوشا، موضوع بحث برانگیزیه چون با وجود داشتن ریشه‌های کهن ایرانی، صورت مشهورترش، با لباس پرچین سفید و کلاه بلند، منتسب به کشور ترکیه هست. اما صرف‌نظر از بحث‌های قومی، نکته‌ی مهم اینه که موقع تصویرسازی به تفاوت‌های سماع ایرانی و ترکی توجه کنیم. سماع ایرانی، براساس نگار‌ه‌هایی که ازش داریم، با همون پوشش عمامه، عبا و قباهای رنگارنگ اجرا میشده‌. جالب اینجاست که این نگاره‌ها از معدود منابعی هستن که ما می‌تونیم فیگورها رو بدون پوشش سر ببینیم، انگار می‌خواستن با انداختن عمامه‌ها، میزان شور حاضران رو نشون بدن. من توی کمیک آخرم فقط در حد یک پنل به سماع اشاره کردم، اما سعی کردم حتی‌الامکان نسخه‌ی ایرانی این رقص رو به تصویر بکشم که توش خبری از لباس سفید و کلاه مشهور نیست. اصلاً قصدم مقایسه نیست، چون هردو آیین قابل احترامه. بحثم اینه که سماع ترکی خیلی شناخته شده‌اس، منابع تصویری بیشتری داره که راحت پیدا میشن، برای مخاطب هم جذابه، اما وقتشه ما سماع ایرانی رو که تو رسانه‌ها بازنمایی نداره، به نمایش بذاریم. I redesigned my DnD character! We've been in a long rest now for almost a month, and I think we won't survive the rest if we keep going like this. xD Anyway, This is the most fun I could have with drawing extracurricular stuff since I was working on two comics at once in the last two months! I'm done with them (that's a lie, one of them has one page left for me to finish, but I need to lie to myself for my sanity) and I reached the deadlines. And honestly, I'm happy with how they both turned out in the end, even tho one of the editors was so ignorant I almost quit the whole anthology but oh well, I did get to try new stuff! The Zurkhaneh outfit is very attractive and, of course, extremely masculine. I’ve always wanted to try it on Mitra, but this project came up earlier. Now I have an old picture of Altai, whom I used as reference for this because designing new characters is difficult lol, wearing the Zurkhaneh outfit! I think now that I’ve drawn him once, I should design Mitra in the Zurkhaneh outfit soon as well! #WIP #comic
