Hawk Tuah recently went viral for her based rant about why OpenSUSE Tumbleweed is the best Linux distro that nobody's talking about. “It’s astonishing that people still think Arch Linux is the best choice when OpenSUSE Tumbleweed has been hiding in plain sight,” she said, exasperated. “Arch might be ‘user-centric,’ sure—but the moment you want real functionality, like stability and cutting-edge software, suddenly you're drowning in config files and wiki pages.” She added that “Tumbleweed gives you everything out of the box—a rolling release, automatic updates, and no need for manual intervention. It’s the future of Linux, and people are stuck with Arch like it’s 2010 all over again.”

There is NO "next" "best" Linux distribution every distribution has a niche that is surpasses others in and its uses cases and that all depends on the ones you need. that's the beauty of linux if you want something tailored to your needs you have it (distrowatch), As a linux user Jerking yourself to your beloved distro is awesome i get it, some say debian, fedora, nix, mint... heck even i says OpenSuse, its because once you find the beauty and stability in your distro you just want others to use it too which in most cases might not work out for the others, the idea of having a multiple distribution out there is for you to go out and check it for yourself and see if it meets your use case, while indeed it feels energetic to use Arch because u went through a hectic installation and managed to create a perfect environment for yourself does not mean that it's the best distribution out there same goes for gentoo, lsf, void and what not. Basing your distro choice on others recommendation is a no go for me. If you don't know what to choose Just use Ubuntu has good community , is popular with everyone and gets the job done. don't get too attached to your tools that you base your whole personality on it.
