a little housekeeping speal 😋I wanted to send a little reminder about what this party is about. If you invited someone, please make sure they get this message, you are responsible for the people you bring and the energy brought into the space. This party is for music, being queer and freaky, people on the margins, and their friends. Cis men in particular: be mindful and respectful of the space you take up on the dancefloor (and otherwise). Give space to those who need it most, those traditionally with less power and voice. Allow them to dance in front!
The dancefloor is for dancing :) If you want to chat and socialize, there are plenty of places to do that. Make use of the special lil room for your party favors and you can leave the bathroom for those who really need to use it for peeing and pooping! ;) If anyone makes you uncomfortable in any way, or you feel unwell, let the awareness team know and it will be dealt with promptly - they are wearing glow-in-the-dark harnesses.

While this party first and foremost is about booking my favorite DJs, I thought I would indulge myself for one time only. I’ve realized over the years I enjoy DJing most (and probably play best) when I’ve been able to play for an extended period of time, but this hasn’t been able to happen on this side of the world, for various reasons.
I would love to see you there, it would mean the world to me! 💕
I will also use this as an opportunity to raise funds for the Berlin Legal Fund supporting Palestinian Activism with legal help in increasingly oppressive Berlin. There will be a donation box at the door (as usual), but I will also donate % of any profit after costs. | 1 182 |

| 14 |  Upsammy is quietly one of the most unique and forward-thinking voices in music and art today — we've never been anything but mindblown by her output as a musician, DJ, and visual artist, and we're so thrilled to have her do what she does best in an intimate setting at Ohm.
upsammy creates interpretative spaces, cleverly paradoxical in their concurrent comfort and desolation. With a keen ear for crystalline melody and intricate rhythm, her music sculpts a certain perpetuity and spatiality, sliding across tempo scales, while retaining an organic touch as a gentle hum of nature digitized (check her recent release on PAN).
As a DJ, she is constantly rewriting the script, always daring and refreshing, pushing beyond tropes in genres and tempos, creating worlds that are utterly unique and sensationally vibrant.
