Prayer Engage - March 🙏🏼 Talking to God with the Lord's Prayer This year, our Life Change Groups will engage in guided prayer together, once a month, as we embark on a journey to grow in prayer. Do you have a loved one living with dementia? Do you long to share Christ's comfort and warmth through your interactions with them? 💛 Join this workshop organised by LoveTheElderly to learn how reminiscence arts can engage persons living with dementia — including those with little or no speech. Using objects, music, movement and photos to trigger memories with the five senses, you'll explore different ways to spark memories and foster connection. You’ll also learn biblical principles and gain practical skills to relate more meaningfully with those living with dementia. Open to caregivers and anyone supporting caregivers. This year, we invite couples who have been married 8-12 years to do the same. Join this class to learn about the importance of church membership, the biblical basis for it and the history and beliefs of WEFC.   

Growing in prayer in our LCGs 🙏🏼 Due to the fire and resulting new service times, we're no longer able to hold our Jericho Prayer gathering on Sundays. Since early 2025, our leaders have also been praying about growing prayer across WEFC. Looking back at last year's season of prayer through the LCGs, we were encouraged by how many of you engaged in prayer together! And so we're introducing a new format for WEFC's prayer life — bringing those corporate prayer moments into our LCGs! Join us on a journey to grow in prayer! With 2025 behind us, we look back with gratitude at the ways God has watched over us, presiding over our lives with His love and power. With 2026 before us, we can look ahead with gladness, knowing that God is in perfect control of all things. Life can get messy, chaotic and overwhelming. So let's cling to Christ, and remember that when we feel like we are coming undone, He has promised us that He is coming again and He is not done — with our lives, our church, our nation, our world. God reigns, and we can rest in that. Blessed New Year, everyone! ♥️

The past few months have been really challenging for us as a church.🔥 The fire in September didn't just destroy our sanctuary; it had also disrupted church life for us in so many ways. But we truly have so much to be thankful for, and so much to look forward to in the new year as we continue to trust God to grow and guide us, His church. 🙏 We invited a few of our staff and church members to share their thanksgiving and takeaways from this season. As we celebrate Christmas today, let us remember that joy often comes in the most unexpected places, to the most unlikely of people. May we, like the shepherds in the field, be in awe of the God who has come to earth to be with us in our suffering and brokenness, to redeem us and to give us hope. May we seek out God intentionally and be attuned to His presence in our lives. Blessed Christmas! ♥️

Amidst global calamities, personal challenges, and even our recent church fire, it can be easy to lose sight of joy. Yet Philippians 4:4 reminds us: "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!" Christmas reminds us of the deepest joy we can have — God's precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ — who draws us to Himself and brings us together as one. So this Christmas, let's gather as a church family and also invite friends and loved ones to celebrate Emmanuel, God with us. BUILDING RESTORATION 5 DECEMBER 2025 Building update • An air-quality assessment was conducted this week by a professional agency, and official results are expected within the next two weeks. • Air purifiers have been placed in key areas of the church where we anticipate the greatest need to help alleviate concerns about air quality as onsite services resume.
