TIL the US FedGov blatantly stole 127,000 BTC from a Chinese mining operation in Iran. It was done using a similar hack as the ColdCard hardware wallet hack - the BTC were stored in an address that was created using low entropy, so it was able to be brute forced.

A fad.

Bitcoin is trading directionally with gold at the highest rate ever. This is good because it means institutional investors are starting to view it as a shelter from debasement. We should expect at minimum a 10x from here over the next 8 years.
