The NU Awards are looking for Student Representatives for this year's Selection Committee! 🫵 This time, we are looking for Student Representatives to help shortlist nominees for Small-Scale Event of the Year and Academic Event of the Year categories. 20 people will be chosen randomly using the randomizer. 📌 Student Representatives will participate in the process of creating a shortlist of nominees who will proceed to the final round of voting. To qualify for this award, the club must have contributed to student life in at least one of the following ways: 💪 demonstrates outstanding results in their discipline within NU and/or outside of it; 💪 holds events in their discipline, including training sessions, contests, and/or championships. Social Contribution Club of the Year 👐 This nomination recognizes a student club that has made a significant impact through its dedication to social causes, community service, and initiatives that create positive change. To qualify for this award, the club must have contributed in at least one of the following ways: 🤝 organizes charity events and campaigns; 🤝 raises awareness among the NU community about social issues and relevant global problems including gender equality, physical and mental health, civil rights and others; 🤝 provides peer support in academics or help with adaptation to life in the university. Media Club of the Year 🎥 This nomination recognizes a student club that has been the most active throughout the year in media production—whether through print and digital media, video creation, photography, or supporting other student clubs with digital coverage of their events. To qualify for this award, the club must have contributed to student life in at least one of the following ways: 📸 produces high-quality photo-, video-, and/or text-based content; 📸 organizes skill-building workshops and events for students; 📸 collaborates with other clubs and organizations in their creative endeavors.
