This is my 3rd update on the BreachForums statement since Aegis says i am desperate. Administrator "ShinyHunters" has released a new version of BreachForums from a backup from May 8, 2024. Not only did he use old backups the administrator disabled registration. If we can look back to 2022 when RaidForums was still around the FBI did the same thing. They disabled registration and turned the site into a honeypot. Nothing has been confirmed on Breached being a honeypot but i have to let everyone know to be extra careful especially right now. I have messaged the forum administrator "ShinyHunters" and he did not want to comment on this. # Official Statement on Breached Forums To the Community, Recently, many of you have asked about the security concerns related to breached forums, and I want to address these queries directly. Why I Believe Baphomet Was an Informant Approximately five months ago, Baphomet expressed a strong interest in assisting with the management of Blackforums' infrastructure. He repeatedly requested to set up a bastion server to help parse logs and address security issues. However, I never granted access to anyone, and no bastion server was created. I firmly believe that I should be the only person with access to the infrastructure. This policy has been in place throughout the year and a month I have managed the site. To clarify, no other administrator—including Lemonade, Eom, and Lucy—has ever had full access to the infrastructure. I am the sole individual responsible for its management and security. Once I expressed this stance in Jacuzzi 2.0, I received a ban from the former forum operator, ShinyHunters. This reaction strengthens my belief in the truth of my statements. Security Concerns with Breachforums There are valid security concerns regarding the new Breachforums, which will be owned by ShinyHunters and built from older backups. Baphomet, being the site's developer, raises further concerns about the use of old backups. As previously mentioned, Baphomet requested access to parse logs. However, it's crucial to note that we do not save logs from our sites under any circumstances. We only log critical information necessary for site functionality, such as email addresses, usernames, and password hashes. IPs are only logged from our reverse proxy, as we do not have X-Forwarded-For enabled.
