The tables show changes in the sales of Fairtrade-labelled coffee and bananas in the years 1999 and 2002 in five countries in Europe. The units are measured in millions of euros. Overall, the sales of banana increased in all countries with the UK making the significant change of all. Moreover, except for the figures in Sweden and Denmark, the sales of banana in other countries faced increase, and were the highest in the UK. In 1999, Switzerland led in coffee sales with 3 million euros, which doubled to 6 million euros by 2004. Meanwhile, the UK started with sales 50% lower than Switzerland but surged to 20 million euros by 2004, taking the lead. Additionally, Denmark, Belgium, and Sweden also experienced growth in coffee sales, reaching 2 million euros, 1.7 million euros, and 1 million euros respectively. In terms of banana sales, The Switzerland had the highest banana sales in both years, as they rose form 15 m to 47m. The respective sharp increase was experienced in the figure for the UK and Belgium to 5.5 m and 4 m, whereas in Sweden and Denmark the sales of banana decreased to 1 m and 0.9 m relatively.

Overall, the figure for people involving in business and medical area along with those who did not have particular job showed downward trends, but opposite was true for other categories of employment throughout the period given. Notably, the preference for self-employment surged in 2013, contrasting with the initial popularity of business ownership. In 2003, approximately 47% of adults were involved in business, making it the most prevalent sector. The medical profession followed closely behind, employing 20% of the adult population. Similarly, around 20% of individuals were either self-employed or unemployed, while 10% worked in construction and education. Moreover , The smallest percentage of people worked in the hotel industry, at about 4%. By 2013, the proportion of individuals engaged in business had dropped significantly to 27%,while a notable threefold increase was observed in the figure for self employed people, making it the most favored choice. Additionally, there was a 10% increase in the construction and education sectors, and more people became interested in hotel industry ( 4%-19%) . Along with the drop in the percentage of unemployed rate , the figure for people working in medicine also faced a decline by 10 %.
