Ching Ting, Y2, Psychology My biggest #whyRH is being in RHDance! 💃🕺Although our dance practice sessions can be frequent and tiring, being surrounded by our friends made sessions more fun and fuelled our passion for dance even more! 🔥 RH Dance has always provided me a safe space to explore new genres comfortably and grow at my own pace, while simultaneously encouraging me to challenge myself and understand myself more! 💪💦 I’m also glad that RH Dance provides many different opportunities to perform and choreograph! Aside from the annual Dance Uncensored and Cultural Night, we also got to choreography for and perform at SUN-NUS 🏖 and Bash @ Cherry Discotheque! 🍒 (When else would you get to dance at a club???) 🤨🤯 Dance aside, our late night suppers, banter sessions and post-practice laughs at each others’ buangs will always be a treasured memory of mine, and I’m so thankful that RH and RH Dance has brought us together! ❤️

Raynen, Y1 Data Science and Analytics When i joined raffles, I wasn't expecting to experience so many new opportunities! 😲Having a passion for music, my songwriting skills were put to the test while writing lyrics and composing for RHMP. ✍🏻🎧And joining RHockerfellas and RH Unplugged was my best decision yet! 🎤🎸🥁 I’ve made so many friends and learnt so much about music production. 🧠Performing gigs with my friends in RHockerfellas and RH Unplugged are ✨core memories✨ in RH. 💚 Without a doubt joining raffles is the right decision for me. 🤩The best memories so far has got to be the late night suppers with my friends 🫓🍜 and the times my friends and i would randomly cover songs in the band room after practice. 🪩 With raffles being central in NUS, getting to classes was never an issue🚶🏻‍♂️🚎and i'm always able to see my friends outside of RH. Being in RH also helps me find friends studying the same mods as me, plus getting waffles from utown late at night is super convienent. 🧇

🥎 THIS IS MY #whyRH 💚 Zu Yun, Y1 Business Analytics I joined RH because I got to know some seniors through a softball tournament, and decided to apply to RH so that I would at least be familiar with some people in hall 🤣 What I didn’t expect was to meet so many new people, and forge so many friendships that I hope will last a lifetime 😁🤝 The highlight of the year is most definitely emerging as CHAMPIONS 🏆 in the recent Inter Hall Games with this amazing team 🔥🔥 Apart from softball, RH has also given me the opportunity to pick up new skills like handball and photography 🤾‍♀️📸 If not for RH, I would never have discovered my passion for these activities (certified softball lover 🤣). Whether you want to try out new things, or sharpen your current skills, RH will surely have something for you 🏡

Aaron, Y1 Industrial and Systems Engineering For me, my #whyRH would definitely be the number of fun🥳, rowdy 💥and yet kind-hearted☺️ individuals that I have met, from RHEX, RHOC, block 3 and my CCAs. I believe RH has a vibrant😎yet inclusive🤗 culture within residents that stands out from other halls, and I’m glad to have crossed paths with people I have enjoyed spending time⏳and working together💪 with. Whether it be a walk together to supper stretch🍝 or an occasional room-crashing💥 I have enjoyed every moment of it with my friends😊 especially with the amount of laughter🤣 that they so often bring about.

Rhio, Y1, Hall Major🏡 Having been born and raised in Raffles Hall, Raffles Hall is not just my home, it is also a vibrant and friendly community with lots of opportunities for me to spread my wings and fly. 🐧🐧 my favourite memory would be chilling and spending time with the other chicks🐥🐥 as well as hanging around with the RHesidents my #whyRH would be the countless number of hall events throughout the year. 🏡Day In My Life💚 Hui Wen, Y1 Business Administration💼📈 Living in raffles has been a fever dream for me✨💫💭 From its once-in-a-lifetime experiences to the people who make it a community🫶🏻, every memory of it has made my uni experience truly worthwhile 🥳 The late night walks, endless conversations and impromptu supper runs🧇😋(due to the convenient location of RH🤩) are a constant reminder of the simple joys that I share with my friends🤍 (even across different halls!). If it weren’t for raffles, all these experiences wouldn’t have been as effortless and meaningful especially when it’s challenging balancing the demands of uni and time for your friends😴 (shag HAHA) #whyRH

Khant Min, Y1, Mechanical Engineering What's better than a place where I can eat, mug, play repeat with my friends without being late for class🗿🗿🗿. Raffles hall is more than just a home away from home 🏡, its a community where I can try new things, study together with friends for that sweet 5.0🔝🔝🔝 and also go for the hype hall events🕺 during our study breaks. My favourite memory😴 would have to be staying up with friends, going for both suppeRH🍝 and breakfast club🍳 on the same night only to realise that its already morning and I have a 9am lab at EA🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️. My #whyRH would have to be waking up to the chickens 🐔🐔🐔in the morning. I think its quite surreal to wake up to it and see them roaming on the grass patch in front of my room🍗 when I'm prepping to go for class😋
