🤸🏽Find your Latin body Mon. 20th November 7pm From theatrical theory we will seek to explore the different qualities of body movement individually and collectively and then advance in the composition in space and its different ways of approaching it to understand how to begin to create choreography with the body. All of this is framed in Latin rhythms and how they react in the body, eliminating the stereotypes of Latin American dances. Michael is an actor trained in Chile and now a member of antagon theaterAKTion which seeks to explore in Europe how to change the vision of how to work with the body and rhythms in people, all in a playful, conscious and confident way. Everyone is invited to participate in this training, you just need to want to learn and laugh in the process. bring comfortable clothes // donation based

🫧 Open Training – Thur. 2-9-16-23 Nov. 19:00-20:30h Anna D’Errico The Fluid Body: fusion dance-theater When a moving body is dancing and when is acting? During these sessions we will explore the possibilities of dance and choreographic movement for acting in connection with traditional dance from middle est and the so-called belly dance. Using dance elements from different cultural heritages and traditions (with a focus on North Africa and Mid.East) and principles of physical theater and dance-theater, we will develop short choreographic and personalized movement sequences. The class will include as well a short focus on cultural heritage of world dance in the context of decolonization and the contemporary artistic debate to rethink the fluidity and femininity of the body movement. The work starts with a warm-up using combined techniques from yoga and dance, and continues with body work based on self-perception principles to explore reaction to specific movements, fluidity, separation and disconnection of body-parts, floor work, and it progresses with exercise of fusion dance, improvisation and belly dance. We will deconstruct traditional dance sequence putting them in dialogue with dance-theater and movement practicing on sequence composition and stage presence. The class is for everyone, no previous experience is required. Please bring comfortable clothes for body work and a scarf. Donation based.

Good afternoon open trainers! Tomorrow is the last impro training of the month. To make it extra special, I will take in account your favorite exercises and go deeper into it. This will of course be improvised, but you can already think about what you want to take away from the four modules proposed. I am excited for our last training together! Sincerely yours, Solal

🌤 Tonight at 7pm on creation and animation Impro theater - Release your inner child with Solal Mazet 7 pm @ protagon Kulturgelände In this Open Training, games are a very serious matter. They allow you to transform failure into fun, danger into amusement. When we were kids, we used to marvel at everything and say yes to anything. Through impro theater we have the opportunity to leave the adult behind and create whole worlds solely with our imagination. As we come together in a moment of deep connection with ourselves and others, we nurture our confidence on stage and learn to let go and smile in the face of danger. Hopefully, when we put our adult hat on again, we notice that we are no longer alone, but always accompanied by our inner child, to remind ourselves that life, is in fact, all a game. Mo. 2.10. on relationship & connection Learn to Listen, accept and to Support each other Mo. 9.10. on spontaneity and playfulness Learn to dare, to discover, to innovate Mo. 16.10. on meaning and emotions Learn to create meaningful interactions Mo. 23.10. on creation and animation Learn to paint with your animation 🤸🏽‍♀️ donation based / wear comfortable clothes / Language: English
