Embarrassed to say ... the $heriff got his ass kicked by a gang of punks trying to rob me.
It's late Saturday night. I'm going home from friend's place all funny and tipsy. Decided to get home by feet since he lives not far and I've decided to take the short route through the town's ghetto, which I've done a thousand times. But yeah, not the smartest decision. 5 punks appear and surround me, demanding my wallet phone and any belongings. Hearing this I laughed and proceeded to continue my way. At the same moment one of them pushed me back then BANG BOOM PUNCH CRACK ... a millisecond later... stars, ground, OUCH!
The punks drew out a metal rod. (Since I wasn't bringing my revolvers, only 2 of them took some meh damage) My phone got to pieces in the process BUT! they could not take my wallet. 😏
Yeah, just came back home from the hospital. Added some stitches to my scar collection, cracked rib, skull, concussion, hemorrhage, bruises, Panda eye.. I'll have some rest and deal with the furious crowd for the failed deadlines.

The shift to proof-of-stake has analysts exploring its impact on the blockchain’s much-touted decentralization.

Many of the benefits promised by the Ethereum merge have come to pass, including a greater-than-99% reduction in energy use and its carbon footprint. But analysts who had raised the alarm over increased centralization before the transition remain concerned that relatively few entities dominate the proof-of-stake mechanism now underlying the blockchain.
"[The] top 7 entities controlling >2/3 of the stake is pretty disappointing to see tbh," tweeted Martin Köppelmann, cofounder of DeFi platform Gnosis.
He posted a chart showing Ethereum staking service Lido handling more than 27 percent of stake-based Ethereum validation, followed by crypto exchange Coinbase with more than 14 percent.
A recent Dune Analytics report affirmed that the two largest stakers of Ethereum are currently Lido with 4.16 million ETH (30.1%) and Coinbase with 2 million ETH (14.5%). The remaining stakers, classified as “other,” have 3.65 million ETH (26.5%).
Decentralization is a key objective of crypto and Web3. The fact that Bitcoin is “sufficiently decentralized” is the main reason why it has remained outside of the crosshairs of U.S. regulators.
If participation in Ethereum validation becomes too centralized, security experts note, the possibility of a “51 percent attack” becomes more than theoretical. Further, dominant parties could be pressured to censor transactions on the blockchain—although Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has said that such a scenario would prompt his company to get out of the staking business. | 291 |

I'll start by specifying what exactly you get for your contribution, respectively 0.5 BNB and 1 BNB.

Let the total supply (TS) be
100%
The preminted maximum supply (MS) will equal 80% of the TS.

| 20 | The Curious Case of Binary (io)- an ETH Scam - PART 1

On September 1st, at 7:29am EST, a person by the name of @djtapian, a member of Super Connector Diamond Whales group shared a dextools chart of Binary along with Etherscan snapshots showing Vitalik’s wallet deployed the contract.
That’s right, it was supposed that Vitalik had launched a token under the rather, and so under the rather, the one and only Vitalik launched it with a starting marketcap of $640 USD.
Hard to believe right? Well, blockchain don’t lie! OR can it?
This is the story of how a person/people abused community’s trust by scamming them.
And as expected, everyone lost their sh*ts. Vitalik deployed a microcap? We’re early AF! That post along with a few reassuring follow up posts by @djtapian is all it was needed to push the chart from the meager marketcap to past 100k in a matter of an hour.
But there were some questions from group members, and to be fair, Super Connector was as cautious as everyone else.
But @djtapian reassured that this is not a mistake, Vitalik indeed launched and he knows this because his uncle works closely with Vitalik. And the rest should believe him because it was thanks to his insiders that he got in Cult DAO very early, which Super Connector corroborated to be a fact because he did shill Cult to him at a low market cap.
But with something like this, sh*t even I took the chance. A literal, moon or dust.
The more questions you asked, the more time wasted and missed the floor.
So right away, members of the group started spreading the news, and created a community tg group. And in that group, somehow someone found the token’s website. And as expected, the website was straight out of the matrix, with binary codes and puzzles all over, giving the token more mystery than ever.
But it was then the first crack appeared, unnoticed by most members. At the bottom of the website, there was a timer. The timer corresponded with the date of ETH Merge.
The merge was days away, and you would expect the timer to show Days, Hours, Minutes and Seconds. But instead it showed Hours, Minutes, and Seconds with the hour corresponding with what supposed to be the days. A simple mistake for us mortals but is that a mistake that a genius like Vitalik and his team would make?
When this was brought to everyone attention, the timer was fixed. Was Vitalik in the group with an alt and saw us talking about the timer and fixed it? Or was it a coincidence? Or was it what it was, A F*CKING SCAM AND THE SCAMMER(S) WAS IN THE GROUP.
As the days past, more questions led to more mystery. But there were some who just did not believe it, saying Vitalik never deployed the contract, it was in fact a spoof or a larp, a common scam where you can make it appear that a token was deployed by any wallet you choose.
And of course, as expected, whoever brought this up was labeled a fudder and banned. “ @djtapian knows what he’s talking about and he has the inside info, plus Vitalik mentioned binary in one of his tweets before “ and a myriad of self fulfilling prophesies was brought forward to discredit the fact that this was a SCAM. But a fool is a fool for a reason.
Super Connector then went on TRAVLAAD’s private group and shared the info, and this was when someone proved that it was indeed a spoof/larp and gave him an example by deploying tokens from the dead wallet, something that’s impossible to do, but nothing a trick can’t do.

Convinced, Super Connector said it can pump anyway, and that’s true. The degens world is filled with greed, that’s why scammers thrive.
Back to the group, more and more people were seeing it for what it was! causing division. The majority believed it’s Vitalik’s token and a minority got labeled as fudders and banned.
