On Saturday, our friend and brother Max Maers had an important day. We cleansed his spirit and body before his future family life. If it weren’t for this man, FORMLESS simply wouldn’t have happened, and I would have lost two of my best friends at once. I hope this day haunts your nightmares. And I hope it remains the scariest day of your life. 💔

Our new track Swim in My Heart is almost ready. We just need to finalize the cover, make arrangements with the distributor, and upload it to all platforms. It feels like we've never done anything like this before. It feels like we've never created something this powerful.

Who is a human? A godlike being, a great soul striving for beauty, or the final point of evolution bound by the social contract? What is the world around us, and is it real to us? We are confined within the boundaries of our bodies. Our bodies are limited by our mind. Our hands, stained with paint, blood, and ink, remain the border between the two facets that a human holds within. We are animals that paint our pictures.

Are you as excited for Animals as we are? It’s dropping on all platforms on 20.06 — just two weeks away. In the meantime, we’ve got loads of work ahead: shooting the video for Animals, recording vocals for Swim in my heart, and working on another track that doesn’t even have a name yet.

We had so many ideas about the content we wanted to create for New Religion. However, unfortunately, the filming process has literally paralyzed our work, taking up more time and energy than we expected. So, we had to put some plans on hold — hopefully, just temporarily. In the meantime, we’re sharing some backstage shots.

The last two months have been incredibly busy for us. Mixing Animals made us work up quite a sweat and, hopefully, brought us to a new level of working with sound. At the same time, we were drawing and redrawing the cover, adding texture to it, striving to make every element perfect. It’s nice to finally take a breath, gather all the files to send to the distributor, and wait for Animals to appear on all platforms. It’s nice to finally take a breath. Because on Monday, we’ll be back in the studio to work on a new release. «Just swim in my heart… Just swim in my heart…»

We are dreamers. Our hands have never held the blueprints of bridges, our eyes have never gazed at the stars through the lenses of telescopes, and our names will not be written in history books. We do not build cities, invent machines, or discover the laws of the universe. We read books, study the past, and look into the faces of those who once changed the world. We are inspired by their courage, their passion, their belief in the impossible. And we write music. Just music. But perhaps, in these sounds, someone will hear a call to action, find the strength to dream and create. Perhaps our songs will become the backdrop for someone’s great discoveries. We do not build the world, but we hope to inspire those who do. And in this lies our small connection to something greater.

And we keep working, getting closer and closer to releasing the new song. Soon, our Animals will be available on all streaming platforms.

My grandmother took me to church, and my grandfather launched rockets into space. But from orbit, no one ever saw any gods. But I see... I see beautiful people all around me. Fearless. Reckless. Mortal. Chasing their dreams and ideas against all odds. These are the people who make my heart beat faster. New Religion is a song about them.

When we were working on Broken, my friend Max got excited about the idea of shooting a nighttime, neon-themed video for the song. Just a few months earlier, I had gotten a Dodge, and I really liked the idea. But then I had a bad skateboarding accident and broke my ankle. Again. I remember sitting on a bench near the house, complaining to Anya that it seemed like we’d have to cancel the shoot. But she didn’t agree with me. “You need crutches. We’ll draw all kinds of stuff on them. Or a wheelchair. Yeah, a wheelchair would be even better.”
