🔵 Context: Pragyan Rover confirms Sulphur on Moon. 🔵 Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) -  It is a scientific instrument aboard Pragyan Rover which has conducted in-situ experiments to confirm the presence of Aluminum (Al), Sulphur (S), Calcium (Ca), Iron (Fe), Chromium (Cr), Titanium (Ti) Manganese (Mn), Silicon (Si), and Oxygen (O) on the lunar surface. NOT Hydrogen (H) so far. How LIBS work? -  The LIBS is a scientific technique that analyses the composition of materials by exposing them to intense laser pulses. A high energy laser pulse is focused onto the surface of a material, such as a rock or soil, and generates localized plasma. The collected plasma light is spectrally resolved and detected by charge coupled devices. Since each element emits a characteristic set of wavelengths of light when in a plasma state, the elemental composition of the material can be determined. #upsc #SciNTech @ibrarclasses

A beautiful story ♥️ ✨ A professor gave a balloon to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway. The professor then mixed all the balloons. The students were then given 5 minutes to find their own balloon. Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon. At that point, the professor told the students to take the first balloon that they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes, everyone had their own balloon. The professor said to the students: " These balloons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own. But if we care about other people's happiness, we'll find ours too." :) @ibrarclasses

If there's a learning in this historic achievement then it is the discipline and will of ISRO who not only corrected all the shortcomings of CH-2 but also anticipated what all possible issues can come and dealt with them before hand.
