Silent follower here… One of the longest 60 hours of my life. Waiting for the result felt like forever. I took my exam last saturday December 9, 2023 at 9 AM, the computer stopped at 85 questions in just 2 hours with only having 5 or 6 case studies, probably 3 SATA, and a lot of stand alone questions (OB, Prioritization, Delegation, Med-Surg, Post-op, Mental health & Pharma). Right after my exam, I was really emotional because it was harder than I thought. I can hear already my heart beating so fast, thinking that I failed because I finished early. I did the PVT trick after 3 hours from my exam, and got a weird pop-up. I did not get the typical responses to know if I passed or failed.

When the interviewer is asking the first question , listen to it , then quickly read the question before you. Then listen to the response of the health care person until you hear the answer ; once you hear the answer , quickly read the options and choose the answer . if you don't hear the answer , listen until he finishes the answer ; then read the options Note : Do not keep seriously reading the answer options while listening to the audio

How to crack OET listening part A B and C Listening Part A In OET listening part A , there are two medical consultations. In each there are 12 blanks . You get 30 seconds time to read the extract before the audio starts . You have to fill the blanks with a word or a short phrase as you listen to the audio consultation . There is no penalty for writing more than the required number of words . There is no penalty for incorrect spellings . Now look how to approach part A when you get 30 seconds time to read , Read only the questions underlining the words before and after the blanks Once the audio starts playing , 1. Understand paraphrases : words , phrases and sentences in the extract will not be spoken as they are in the audio ; speakers in the audio use alternative words and phrases for the words that you see on the extract . We need to understand paraphrases to better follow the consultation 2. Follow the headings : all the notes that you see in the extract will be spoken in the audio ; so follow everything that they speak to stay on tract 3. When the consultation is moving to a question , well before , read the whole question sentence focusing on the words before and after the blanks . Words before and after the blanks are clues ; use these clues effectively to locate answer in the audio . some prepositions such as in , on , to , with , for , about, given before the blank and some words given after the blanks help locate your answer in the audio 4. After filling the blank, quickly read the whole sentence to make sure your answer is making sense in the blank Follow these tips when you take listening part A next time, Listening part B In OET Listening part B , there are 6 multiple choice questions . We get 15 seconds time to read each question . We need to fill the circle with 2 b pencil During 15 seconds reading time , Read the question , note the key words , and read the answer options twice Once the audio starts , take a look at key words of the question and keep listening to audio until you hear the answer based on the key words in the question . Once you hear the answer , read the answer options and choose the correct answer . You will hear the answer for most questions . You may not hear the answer for a couple of questions , in which case , listen until the end of the audio and then read answer options Note : Don't keep reading the answer options while listening to audio ; you will miss the answer Listening part C In OET listening part C, you will hear either 2 presentations or 2 interviews or 1 presentation & 1 interview ; you have to answer 6 multiple choice questions in each. Hi guys, received my quick results and found out I passed! this was my 4th attempt and I wanted to share my experience with this one to help ease anxiety. Previously I used archer and uworld, did not work for me. This time I strictly used Dr @Ahmedstudy01 Exact test scheduled tips and also bought the Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment Book 5th edition (evolve). I went along with the 1-month schedule. Studied 6 days 3-4 hrs, with one day off. Ended off finishing the schedule a week and a half earlier than my nclex day so decided to use those extra days to strictly review the case studies. They do a really good job of resembling case studies from the NCLEX. I believe this really helps boost your points in passing with 85 questions. please feel free to ask anything!
