I work in construction field where we do Asbestos work and other hazards work, which we required by OSHA to were a half face or full face respirator Mask and I have beard, based on OSHA regulations does not allow beard while trying to use the respirator mask to work with Asbestos. I have been asked by my employer to trim my beard so I can use a full face mask and work on Asbestos jobs since we know that asbestos can cause cancer and this is a health issue what is your advice?
