🔶In an interview at Bloomberg’s Global Markets Conference, Dalio emphasized that despite market pressures, the U.S. economy remains in “relatively good balance,” and premature rate cuts could be detrimental.
🔶Dalio warned that aggressive monetary easing could destabilize the bond market.
🔶He explained that lowering rates might lead to a decline in the value of money and reduced returns for bondholders, potentially causing investors to shift away from bonds.
🔶This scenario could result in higher long-term yields, a weaker dollar, and increased gold prices.
