Slavery was never abolished, it just expanded to include everyone. Now there’s no third person to judge whether we’re free or slaves.

Use scarcity principle to inflate your perceived value. The less accessible your are, the more your presence is valued.

(2/2) Conclusion? Minimalism is not about cost cutting, its about trying to fit in a materialistic image set by productivity gurus. Have you ever heard someone who’s into productivity call themselves “productivist” or those into self-improvement call themselves “Self Improvists”? No! It’s a bullshit tag. Minimalism is not a wide concept where everyone can have their own interpretations, instead, it is a mold that restricts you with certain undefined laws. To put it simply, it’s not about getting rid of colored t-shirts, it’s about buying black and white t-shirts. Minimalism says essential objects will give you clarity but all it gives you is emptiness. You’re stuck there in loneliness getting pissed at every person living a vibrant life because you think his mind is clouded and he is deluded. In this equation, the minimalist is deluded. While I understand the aesthetic point of view. Who doesn’t like clean and simple designs. Problem starts when minimalism seeps out into every other aspect of your life. There’s beauty in chaos. Vibrant colors put together can produce an bliss extraordinary that may never be possible with monochrome. I believe one should try out few concepts of minimalism like staying clean and simple, but there should be stop to it. Don’t let the notion template selling growth gurus get into your brain and take away your sense of admiring colors. Live a Vibrant life my Gs Nishmeet

THE CULT OF MINIMALISM INTRODUCTION Minimalism is a concept that has gained a lot of traction in recent years which revolves around de-cluttering your life, possession of only essential objects and reducing distractions. It should’ve stopped here, but minimalism has now gone beyond its original principles and has become a full blown cult. Today we will see how. HISTORY OF MINIMALISM The idea of simple living has existed for well over two centuries. This popularized by Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau. They held the idealistic view that insight and enlightenment can be gained through solitude and simplicity, such as illustrated in the book ’Walden’. In mid-1920’s, The modern style of living was brought up by the Bauhaus School’s ideal of balancing beauty with utility. The teachers and students of the school offered an alternative to uninspiring manufactured products. Next stage in Minimalism was the rising popularity of simple art and slow life in late 90s. Minimalism as we know it today and its aesthetics were finally refined in early 2010 EXPLOSION IN POPULARITY Minimalism reached its new peak after the Netflix Documentary ‘The Minimalists’ which articulated the principles of Minimalism and presented it as a viable alternative to traditional materialistic lifestyle. Today if you search Minimalism on YouTube, you will most likely find a guy wearing black clothes and white walls in background preaching how he and many others got rid of anxiety, depression & clouded thinking by simply getting rid of all ‘excess’ stuff, and embracing a mono-chromatic lifestyle. Minimalism has seeped into most aspect of people’s lives, from clothes, accessories, design language, to societal conditioning, preferences and mental models. PRINCIPLES OF MINIMALISM DE-CLUTTER FIRST, ORGANIZE SECOND Instead of spending more time organizing, save yourself the storage space, energy and organizing work by getting rid of things first. Start with decluttering and then organize what remains. It’s much easier to organize when you have fewer things THE PROCESS IS DYNAMIC, NOT STATIC This is not a one-time project, what minimalism looks like for you will change as your needs and lifestyle change. NO MAGIC NUMBER OF ITEMS Obsessing over whether or not you have more than 100 items is just as bad as impulsively buying more than you need. DETACH YOUR SENSE OF SELF-WORTH FROM THINGS YOU OWN As you declutter and consume less, you’ll realize that your self-worth doesn’t have anything to do with the brand of clothes you wear, what kind of car you drive or what furniture you have MINIMIZING DISTRACTIONS OF ALL-TYPES, INCLUDING PROJECTS Distractions take shape in all forms. We all know what it’s like to have so many projects you don’t even know where to start. By removing the project clutter, you’re removing the distractions that prevent you from finishing anything at all. MINIMALISM RELIGION If you know a person who labels himself a minimalist, you must’ve noticed their weird obsession of living a completely mono-chromatic life. The label ‘Minimalist’ becomes their entire identity. This seeps out of just material possession and ends up making them a prophet of minimalism. A minimalist wears a black tshirt, black watch, black jeans, black phone case, white furniture, white walls, white curtains, etc. The fact that this color code isn’t particularly written anywhere, but every minimalist follows it makes me wonder there’s more going on than what meets the eye. It’s almost like a ritual, or a necessary setting to enter the cult. This religion is primarily organized on YouTube where people following these traits preach how following minimalism has given them ‘freedom’ (oi?) PROBLEM WITH MINIMALISM De-cluttering sounds like an idea that will save you money by not buying non-essentials. But is that the case? Look up any product and add the keyword ‘minimalistic’ before it. You will notice a sharp rise in prices for the same product in vibrant colors. (1/2)

It is inevitable that you will suffer betrayals, in relationships or in friendships Instead of resenting your choices and regretting the actions you took, derive lessons and learning from your experience and move on If you create the feelings of bitterness in your heart, then only you are going to suffer Your body, mind and heart is going through those rough negative emotions, not anyone else's There is a strong possibility that the betrayal happened due to your own naivety You trusted someone who is not worthy of your trust Understand, what caused this circumstance, and pledge that you will never let that event happen, ever again Please understand that everything in life is about "interests" for people Honour, dignity, integrity, these virtues are lost Also, you can't really blame people all the time if you are a victim of somebody who is seeking his own interest Why should they sabotage their own interests for your sake? Just because they're your "friend"? If you believe in this emotional rhetoric, then please note that your delusion is unfathomable No one cares about you my friend, apart from your family Very few people actually go on to become your true friends or allies A good metric for judgment: if you had a car accident at night, ask yourself, genuinely How many of your "true", "best friends" would come to save you? You already know the answer, right? Probably even the "close" ones you are spending countless hours on aren't actually worthy of your time and efforts Side note: ruthlessly weed those out who encourage and promote mediocrity They are snakes in disguise Reality is extremely nuanced, there is nothing purely black or white Therefore you must understand all of these points You don't have to cut ties from all of your friends or allies Never display the feelings of hurt, resentment and betrayal even when you are feeling pain There is no need to create unnecessary enemies, it is counterproductive for your own interests You don't know in what way they can be of your use. Wait for the right opportunity to strike. If they can pursue their interests, why don't you? Purely altruistic approach to life will destroy you. This is not an exaggeration. Ideal situation is where you don't have to play these games anymore That is a consequence of self reliance. Reduce your external needs, and become self sufficient in as many aspects as possible Expectations from others can only lead to disappointment.

Yuval Noah Harari is 100% a Satanic Preacher. Unless your values are rock solid, avoid reading his books. I've now seen way too many people turn into 'atheists' after reading Sapiens. He speaks for the establishment.

Find your HIGH VIBE GANG

Avoid being around losers as much as possible. Their low standards and habits and apathy WILL rub off on you. You become like the people you're around, and it's better to be alone than to be surrounded by losers.

Month ago, i told you that you should buy food and store it "just in case". It was last year and many took me for a fool. Now, there are more and more thing missing each day. And some basic stuff can't be find anymore in supermarket. To add, price of almost everything are multiplying since last years. And i don't think it's gonna stop. I'll tell you again and it's a fair warning : store some food "just in case". We live in an hyperconnected world. When the supply chain is disrupted, everything suffers. Shanghai, one of the biggest world hub, was close again during weeks, a lot of stuff is going to miss soon. People thinks this covid stuff is done. I don't think so and i believe it's gonna hurt the supply chain again. A chain who's already in huge trouble. So do yourself a favor, if you can and if it don't hurt your finance. Store some food. If nothing happens, great, you have some food. If it keeps going south, great, you were smarter than everyone. Take care.
