My approach=> try with this & tell result ( Maine Nahi Kiya try )
a) Use Huygens-Steiner theorem to find moment of inertia of axis passing through lowest point and find moment of force by looking at the center of mass
b)Use that theta=theta0 cos(omega t) and take a derivative
c)take second derivative of angle to find maximum acceleration

It is Differentiable everywhere
Because x=0 isn't in its domain :)
