🚩🚩Human Brucellosis (Malta Fever) Brucella or Malta fever🚩🚩 The most common common diseases are transmitted from cows, sheep, goats, pigs, and camels through direct contact with blood, placenta, fetus, and uterine secretions, or through contamination of animal products, especially milk. ❎Cause: Brucella abortus, Brucella melitensis, Brucella suis, Brucella canis. ❎Transportation methods: By eating or direct contact with an infected animal with wounds on the hands. Or by inhaling bacteria in laboratories. The people most susceptible to the disease are consumers of milk and its derivatives, farmers, butchers, veterinarians, and workers in scientific laboratories. The incubation period of the disease is high, ranging from 2 to 4 weeks, and it can be two months or more. ❎Clinical signs: 🔺 Signs occur acutely or suddenly, with a persistent, intermittent, or irregular fever. 🔺 Profuse sweating, fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss, headache, muscle pain with general pain. 🔺 When brucella infects the heart or nervous system, most cases are fatal. ❎Diagnosis: Serological tests such as: 🔺Rapid Card Test (Rose Bengal Test) 🔺ELISA test 🔺 PCR ❎Treatment: 1- Doxycyclin 100 mg twice a day for 45 days + streptomycin 1g daily for 15 days. 2- The main alternative to treatment is Doxycyclin 100mg twice a day for 45 days + rifampicin 15 mg/kg/day (600-900mg) for 45 days. # FEVER Dengue fever Dengue, also known as dengue, is a viral disease transmitted by the bite of a specific type of mosquito called Aedes , especially Aedes aegypti . Feather is encased in a delicate keratin wrapper and can easily bleed if damaged 🔺Saddle Feathers– also known as hackles- the long, pointy feathers on a male chickens neck 🔺Molting– the annual shedding of feathers 🔺Broiler– Chickens raised specifically for meat production 🔺Cockerel– or cock, is a male chicken less than 1 year old.
