| 2 | “Reciting the Quran with musical melodies and tones is an innovation that was not done by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ or his noble companions, neither did Jibril ﷺ descend with it
Improving the voice when reciting the Quran is something which is required legislatively, as long as this recitation is with the [non-musical] melodies of the Arabs, not the melodies of the non-arabs.
If the reciter recites with a certain musical melody, then his recitation is disliked if he gives precedence to the rules of the recitation (i.e tajweed), as it has not been narrated from the Prophet ﷺ and it is the symbol of the sinners of the people of music. But if he gives precedence to the rules of the melody over the rules of the recitation, then his recitation is forbidden by consensus of the people of knowledge, and so is listening to it.
As for the hadith, “The one who doesn’t beautify his voice with the Quran is not from us”, then it means that a person naturally improves and beautifies his voice with the Quran according to his nature, not by following musical melodies.
As for other Ahadith such as:
“Beautify the Quran with your voices” narrated by Abu Dawūd.
And “Allah does not listen to anything the same way He listens to a Prophet with a beautiful voice reciting the Quran loudly” Narrated by Muslim.
And the statement of Abu Musa al-Ash’ari رضي الله عنه to the Prophet ﷺ: “If I knew you were listening to me I would’ve beautified my voice [with the recitation] excessively for you”
Then all these ahadith indicate that it is required to beautify the voice with the Quran, however it does not indicate in any way that it is permissible to recite the Quran with musical melodies and tones.
In summary:
Reciting the Quran with musical melodies is either disliked or forbidden, and a person should not be pleased except with the highest of things when it comes to his recitation of the Quran, following the Sunnah, not innovating anything.”

| 7 | al-Imam al-Albani رحمه الله:
“The Shia strike their faces and chests with metal out of grief for al-Hussain’s murder.
Why do they not grieve over the death of our Prophet ﷺ when his death is a calamity larger than that of al-Hussain’s عليه السلام death?
Indeed that is clearcut misguidance.”

“The killer of al-Hussain was the wicked Ubaydulllah bin Ziyad, and the ones more wicked than him are the Shia who deceived al-Hussain and made him leave Makkah to al-Kufa and pledged allegiance to him. And when he came to them they betrayed him and killed him and his family.
So what is the reason for all this crying across all these centuries when it was your betraying ancestors who betrayed him and unsheathed their swords against him and killed him and the people from Bani Hashim who were with him and others?”

“When al-Hussain discovered the betrayal of the Rawafid, he regretted [leaving Makkah] and requested from the army of Ibn Ziyad to allow him to either:
1- Return to Makkah
2- Go to one of the fortresses of the Muslims and fight with them
3- Go directly to Yazid [bin Mu’awiya]
But this army, made up of evil Shias, refused all of that and killed him.”

| 10 | Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said:
"As for making the day of Ashura a time of mourning because of the killing of al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) on that day, then this is an act of those whose efforts are lost in this worldly life while they think they are doing good. Neither Allah nor His Messenger commanded making the days of the prophets' misfortunes and deaths a time of mourning, let alone those who are less than them"

| 13 | Shaykh Salih al-‘Usyami حفظه الله:
“Do not consider the punishment of Allah for the unjust people to be slow, for it is delayed to become greater; as Allah ﷻ says: "So do not be impatient for them. We only count out [a fixed number] for them" [19:84].
In al-Tabari's Tafsir, it is stated: "He says: We only delay their destruction so that they may increase in sin, and We count all their deeds to recompense them for all of them, and We did not delay their destruction because We intended good for them."
