đTypically, there are 4 application deadlines that you should know while applying to the US colleges or universities
1. ED1 (early decision 1). In early decision 1, you should submit your application by 1st November.
2. ED2 (early decision 2). In early decision 2, you application must be submitted by 15th November.
P.s it may vary depending on the college you are applying to. Some colleges' early application process lasts till 1st December. In this case, do not forget to check the college's official page for further info.
Regular decision deadlines
1. Usually, regular decision application must be submitted by 1st January. In most cases, 15th January is the most common date to submit application
So, what's the difference between early decision and regular decision. In short, those who are submitting their application in early decision are highly likely to get accepted than those who are submitting in regular decision. For instance, Dartmouth university has 9.2% acceptance rate in regular decision, but in early decision, it increases to almost 25%. Last but not least, if you are considering to apply to the US universities, take the most advantage of early decision application process.
