| 6 | Important: Microphone availability/ usage at Public Speaking Examinations.
Dear parents/ candidates,
Some essential guidelines regarding microphone usage during the competition.
🎤For the "Prepared Speech" category, there will be only a stand microphone available for your use. However, a handheld FM microphone can be provided upon request of the candidate when lining up for your speech (parents are kindly expected to refrain from approaching the sound control personnel).
🎤The clip-on microphone is strictly designated for participants in the "News Reporting categories and Power Point Presentations, but candidates are welcome to request a handheld FM microphone if preferred.
These guidelines aim to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all participants. The score in anyway is not affected by the microphone usage and is solely for the purpose of the audience being able to hear the speakers.
However, despite the mics being available, candidates are always welcome and encouraged to perform without mics if they are confident to use voice projection especially for older candidates.
If you have any specific requirements or concerns regarding microphone usage, please feel free to reach out to the organizing committee at the examination venue, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

| 8 | Important : Regarding the Candidate ID card.
Candidate ID must be typed or written, and pinned to the candidate.
Please make sure the number is clearly visible. Specially for the photos. Otherwise it may be difficult for the photographers to identify the students.
We don't have fixed sizes as to which you should make your Candidate ID cards. The sole purpose of the number cards is to not make any errors when filling the evaluation reports and the certificates. Therefore, the size should be sufficient for our team to easily identify candidates when they are lined up.
