📌 4th August 2025: Markets Rebound.
Sensex and Nifty bounced today.
Sensex: +170 pts to around 80,770
Nifty: +60 pts to approximately 24,630
✅ Good or Bad?
A mild recovery no fireworks, but progress after weeks of steady pressure. Global tariff worries and Fed policy doubts remain overhead. Defensive sectors found demand, easing overall risk.
📉 What Moved the Market:
Auto, metals, cement stocks led gains across sectors
Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Power Grid underperformed
Financials were mixed, with selling pressure from major names
⚠️ Trends & Setups to Watch:
Analysts warn: break of 24,500 could open way to 24,200–24,000
Best bets remain defensive (FMCG, pharma, cement), while caution around IT and export-linked names
🧭 Outlook:
Markets may stay volatile as RBI’s policy meet begins and US trade news evolves. A break above 24,800 could refuel confidence, while a slide past 24,500 may accelerate weakness.

✅ Good or Bad?
Not a great expiry day. Most sectors stayed in the red — banks, financials, and IT led the fall. Global markets stayed weak, and FII selling continued. On the other side, a few pharma and FMCG names held up slightly better.
🧾 What moved the market:
Kotak Bank, Bajaj Finance, Wipro, Airtel, and Tata Motors saw heavy selling.
Sun Pharma, Nestle, and Hindustan Unilever offered some support.
⚡ Expiry Insights
Nifty expiry played out near support levels.
