Ah! You surmise correctly! you didn’t need anything! You would have healed fine and then some. I did not mention another benefit. At the time my beloved cat bit me so hard my hand swelled up and up my arm to my elbow - I had some kind of nerve pain (carpal tunnel like pain) in that hand after a lot of spinning fiber. The swelling was accompanied with heat which I did not mess with. I left my body to produce all the symptoms it needed - no Arnica no homeopathics no pain meds - nothing! Four days later my hand and arm were back to normal and the carpal tunnel like pain also disappeared! Has never been back - been about 2 years now. Our self healing ability is fantastic!

As I said in my answers to Robert, homeopathy is premised on the fact of the self healing ability of the organism. It doesn’t work otherwise. It only works because of the body’s self healing ability. The problem comes in when that natural process is interrupted/interfered with. Do that enough times, add more toxins and the organism no longer is able to regulate as well and the correct stimulation will help/is needed. I do not treat acutes until they are really clear and/or the healing process appears to have stalled or the patient is really suffering. Amplifying symptoms means they get stronger until the action is completed. Most people are trying to stop the symptoms, which again, weakens the organism. I have 7 cats - I never treat cat bites no matter how bad or how swollen they become. They heal all on their own in about 4 days. Same for honey bee stings or cuts. I do nothing. I let my body do all the work except I have on rare occasions, picked a scab when I saw the clean up action (people call it infection) was being stopped and an abscess was building. This would let the pus escape and healing would proceed again normally.

Why doesn't homeopathy philosophy fully trust the body? Why does H philosophy feel the body 'needs' amplification and boosting? Homeopathy is not a philosophy. It is a system based on principles of natural law. It has nothing to do with trusting the body. It is about finding a “like” frequency to the one of the organism. To know that frequency is to know the materia medica and understand the principle of the WHOLE - spirit, mind, emotions and body- not a series of parts and focus only on the parts - but seeing the WHOLE picture and matching only that. Those symptoms which are mental, emotional and physical all at once, show us the picture. All of these self prescribing books are dangerous because like allopathy, they focus on a few symptoms. They can be good for a seriously acute situation when the picture is clear, but are inadequate for chronic dis-ease where symptom picture has become unclear- that is when the self healing is compromised through suppressive interventions and toxins. Again, you are reading my words, which are just a summary of years of training, and projecting your own meaning/paradigm onto them. I say this with all due respect for your interest and my many years of training and experience. 5. If H. remedies 'amplify and boost' far beyond the body's normal ability to manifest its own symptoms and healing, isn't that placing undue, even excessive agitation and hyper-stimulation to the body? Again you said “far beyond” as well as “beyond the body’s normal ability, not I, and that changes my message. I did not say that. The preceding answers should make this question irrelevant, however, it does bring up a point Hahnemann made which I did not mention. It is only supposed to be just the least amount of stimulation, nothing more. If the picture is not clear we are told to be careful and prescribe “low.” The vitality must be there and yes, people can and have been harmed by too high a potency or wrong remedy when in extremely weakened states of health - especially when they prescribe to only physical symptoms. This is why I am upset about self prescribing or thinking homeopathy is nothing. These are not blank sugar pills. They are not harmless. But, done right, this is an amazing medicine. From Robert: I'm no expert about homeopathy, so I'm asking these sincere questions: 1. How does a homeopathic remedy 'amplify' symptoms and 'boost' healing action? How would it know precisely what to amplify, what to boost, and what not to amplify or boost? This is an energetic universe first and we are energetic beings. Our material bodies are only one aspect of our whole being. We vibrate at a certain frequency and that frequency is made manifest through our spirit, mind, emotions and body. Balance is maintained on the energetic plane and when anything “happens” to us, the energetic input must be balanced in the best possible way for us and in stronger less suppressed organisms we do not notice this balancing action as much as for a weaker less vital organism. Constant interference in the action of the organism by adding, removing things or some other manipulation results in pushing the symptoms deeper and new ways must be implemented in order to find a balance that will keep the organism alive until the day the organism through the organizing intelligence cannot do that. The totality of the action of balancing has a frequency “like” or “similar” to another living organism or substance. The stronger the organism, the more likely its self healing ability is enough to balance or heal without any aid. The weaker less healthy organisms through repeated suppressive interventions have compromised that self healing ability and often does not have the energy even for a fever. This is where, when the frequency is found (a well trained homeopath knows how to read Totality of symptoms on all levels material, emotional, mental and spiritual) it is matched to a substance of similar frequency which like a tuning fork amplifies that signal (you see as symptoms) which essentially “boosts” and if strong enough, will help the organism complete it’s healing action. The precision is all resonance. That means if the homeopath makes a mistake then it’s either similar, wrong enough or not even in range and symptoms become more clear - it is not enough to complete the healing action but can help the organism - I won’t go into it now - this takes years of study to get it right - or it can suppress like allopathic treatment and make things worse - confuse things - or do nothing or something in between all that. 2. Is the body not capable of appropriately and correctly manifesting the symptoms (healing actions) it needs to manifest? Yes, when healthy enough but after years of suppressive intervention not even homeopathy can work. The mistake many make is thinking this is true all the time but it is not - this is why some people don’t heal- they do not have the vitality. Their Qi is so diminished. Homeopathy is great for those who are not in the most optimal health and cannot easily accomplish this healing action on their own. Through years of suppressing inflammation they interrupt the processes involved in inflammation which is a healing action and that diminishes the ability of the organism to throw such energy intensive symptoms like fevers. Two things go against the average patient besides poison food air water and land...interruption and interference of the natural healing action of the person together with poisons given that are the interfering agents. A double whammy. In cases where the organism cannot even produce physical symptoms (they have deep mental symptoms for example - the deepest aspect of the organism can no longer be protected), homeopathy cannot cure, only palliate. Vithoulkas has a book called “Levels of Health” which explains this in more detail. 3. If disease is not caused by a homeopathic remedy deficiency (it is not), then what actually is the cause of disease? There is no such thing as a homeopath remedy deficiency - that makes no sense. Of you studied homeopathy, you would not even ask this question. This lack of knowledge has you taking the summary I gave and trying to make it fit a different paradigm. 4.
