Early this morning, Siraj shared a photograph of the team lifting the World Cup trophy and wrote, “Thank you almighty Allah.” Virat Kohli, who thanked God for the victory in his post-match comments, received widespread praise and was celebrated by many fans, with several calling him a “True Sanatani.” A tweet received a lot of attention and read: “Virat Kohli thanked God for the victory. Bhakts: Yeyeyeye, True Sanatani. Siraj thanks Allah for the victory. Bhakts: Isme Allah kaha se aaya B$dk, mc.. This h@te is unreal.” In contrast, Mohammed Siraj’s expression of gratitude to Allah for the victory was met with negative reactions from some social media users.
