RBI has announced 2 major changes in UPI
- The transaction limit increased from ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakhs for payments to hospitals and educational institutions
- The transaction limit increased from ₹15,000 to ₹1 lakh for recurring payments like credit card repayment, mutual fund subscription, and insurance premium payment.
