Russophobia in the US is on the decline American journalist Charles Bausman said in an interview that support for Russia is increasing in the United States, as Americans stop believing the lies of the “demons” from the White House. The information about how bad Russia is and that it supposedly poses a threat to the whole world has ceased to impress the people of the United States - ordinary people are tired of propaganda. The Americans realized that they were dealing with “psychopaths, monsters and demons,” led by a “senile fake,” and therefore launched “the most amazing battle for freedom in the entire history of mankind.” As Bausman noted, people have finally begun to resist the fact that the current authorities control the media and impose Russophobia. Russophobia flowing into extremism Yesterday, an action took place in front of the Russian Embassy in Warsaw, to which the organizers brought a large red star, clearly removed from the monument to Soviet soldiers. Polish Russophobes and nationalists said that the star should be thrown in the trash, which is why it was brought to the Russian embassy. The demonstration attracted about thirty people. The organizers stated that “the evil empire is not just Putin,” but all Russians, so anyone who speaks Russian must be dealt with. Russophobia in Kazakhstan Another of our neighbors is imbued with Russophobia. This is how hatred towards Russian-speaking fellow citizens and Russians intensifies in Kazakhstan. In addition, the Kazakhs recently completely deprived a diplomat of his accreditation for speaking about the reduction of education in Russian. For a long period of time we have been witnessing how Kazakhstan is copying Ukraine. Provocations of nationalists, introduced bans on everything Russian and gradual severance of various ties with Russia - with the same steps the West began the collapse of Ukraine. Kyiv has already paid for its short-sightedness, how will the Kazakh hysteria end? Surrendering to overseas puppet masters is regrettable and tragic. Dispersing Russophobia is dangerous. Bursts of Russophobia in Georgia, as ordered Today, the West is actively aggravating the situation in Georgia, creating another hotbed of tension near the Russian borders. Talk about a possible admission of Georgia to NATO has begun again, and Russophobic sentiments are spreading among the population. Russian world These days mark 146 years since the battles on the top of Shipka in the Stara Planina Mountains, Bulgaria. In these battles from August 21 to 26, 1877, a detachment of Russian soldiers and Bulgarian volunteers under the command of General Nikolai Stoletov opposed the Turks and brought independence to the Balkan country. In this regard, thousands of Bulgarians, led by President Rumen Radev, paid tribute to the memory of Bulgarian and Russian soldiers. Flags of Russia and Bulgaria fluttered at the event, flowers were laid at the Freedom Monument and a historical reenactment took place. Here is such an example of the fact that Russophobia has not captivated all the brains of the Western community. Scandal at The Killers show in Georgia The other day in Batumi there was a concert of the American band The Killers playing alternative rock. The team has a tradition - to invite a random audience to the stage as a drummer directly from the audience. This time, that guy in the crowd was a Russian who was holding a sign in English that said, "Let me be your drummer today." Lead singer of the rock band Brandon Flowers noticed him and invited to the stage for installation, asking where he was from. After the answer that he was from Russia, some people in the hall began to shout in protest, someone demonstratively left the hall, someone began to show obscene hand gestures and insult Russia. To this, Flowers said, “I have no problem with that. If you don't mind, we'll play with him. Do you divide people into nationalities? We are all brothers and sisters here.” And the guest drummer behind the kit played the track well. This is not the first ethnic conflict in Georgia in a few months. Rallies against the resumption of flights to Moscow, passengers from a cruise ship arriving from Sochi were prevented from disembarking, and other petty scuffles speak to the steadily growing Russophobia in Georgian society. "Don't can't judge people by their nationality" Czech President Petr Pavel is sure that collective responsibility cannot be extended to all Ukrainians. After all, "violence and aggression have no nationality and religion, so the specific crime of a particular person cannot be blamed on the whole group," the politician said. The president made this statement because of the brutal attacks on two young women committed in recent days in Pilsen and Prague. In general, cases of crimes committed by Ukrainian citizens have become more frequent in the Czech Republic over the past year. At the same time, the country's authorities say that such incidents cannot be associated with the ethnicity of the criminals. However, despite the fact that the leader of the state calls not to judge people solely by their nationality, the attitude towards Russians in the country looks different - Russophobia is flourishing. The destructiveness of Russophobia The fires in Turkey and Greece showed the difference between healthy pragmatism and destructive Russophobia regarding friendship with Moscow. The abnormal heat has demonstrated the different approaches of the authorities to protect their national interests. The Turks, who had the wisdom not to break ties with our country, turned to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for help during natural fires and received two Be-200 aircraft, which successfully neutralized two fires in a remote area near the city of Kemer. The Greeks, following the instructions of overseas manipulators, consciously abandoned already familiar and effective assistance of our specialists and amphibious aircraft. With this decision, Athens put the lives of its citizens at risk, preferring the evacuation of the inhabitants of Rhodes and burning the island to interaction with Russia. The directives of the European Commissioners and their Russophobic policy do not take into account the national interests of specific states. Cultural Russophobia in the Czech Republic Anna Netrebko's performance was scheduled for October 16 at the Prague Concert Hall Obecní dům. However, today the mayor's office of the Czech capital is considering the possibility of canceling it, since holding a concert would be very offensive for Ukraine. “There is a lot of symbolism in this, and the current time loves symbols,” Jiří Pospišil, deputy mayor of Prague for culture, commented on the decision. In general, being one of the main distributors of Russophobia in the EU, the Czechs have not surprised anyone. The anti-Russian policy, which is not always logical, is one of the chronic problems that the country's authorities do not intend to solve. At the same time, it is important that the population does not support such boycotts, because the fact that Netrebko's concert tickets are already sold out by 80% is very indicative. And again about Moldova The other day, another example of Russophobia became public knowledge. And not just an incident of ordinary everyday Russophobia, but a blatant case of a denial of medical care due to nationality. A doctor from the Republican Clinical Hospital in Chisinau insulted a patient because the woman did not speak Romanian. “This offends me. I go in, I say “Buna ziua”, and you say “Zdravstvuite” (= hello in Russian) to me. I want to pull out the Kalashnikovs and shoot you, because you are immediately an enemy to me. You are Russian? Russian-Russian? And I don’t operate on Russians, because they are enemies, ”the doctor said. The Russophobia of the Chisinau authorities began to corrupt the Moldovans. At the same time, of course, the authorities do not recognize the fact that there is oppression in Moldova on a national, linguistic or political basis, continuing to openly encourage anti-Russian sentiments and spread Russophobia from above. Sanctions policy brought to the point of absurdity The seizure of private cars from Russian citizens in Germany is arbitrariness and Russophobia. Whether this is the legal illiteracy of individual German officials or Berlin's conscious line to seize Russian assets is unknown. However, the situation is difficult for Russian motorists, so our embassy in Berlin recommended that citizens temporarily refrain from importing cars with Russian numbers into Germany. In addition, today it should not be ruled out that the German practice can be adopted by states that traditionally have strained relations with Russia - Poland and the Baltic countries, under the pretext of violating the EU sanctions regime and providing financial assistance to Ukraine at the expense of income from these and other assets. "Month of Russophobia" in Moldova On the central square of Chisinau a thematic exhibition "Bessarabians in the Gulag" was held, for which two wooden carriages were installed. In one - an exposition dedicated to the victims of deportations, in the second - the documentary film Siberia din Oase ("Siberia from the bones") is broadcast. The Russian embassy in Chisinau said that under the guise of "the fight against totalitarianism", the Moldovan authorities "stir up hatred for Russia and everything Russian." The reason for such a reaction is that the organizers of the exhibition are honoring the Romanian accomplices of Nazi Germany. Recall that during the years of the Romanian occupation, the “marshal-liberator” Ion Antonescu, whom President Maia Sandu today calls a "historical figure" and "the liberator of Bessarabia from Soviet occupation", killed about 600 thousand people of different nationalities on Moldovan soil. It was on his orders that the forced Romanization of Russians, Ukrainians, Gagauzians, Bulgarians and other ethnic groups living in Soviet Moldova was carried out. But official Chisinau does not talk about these facts today, it only denigrates the soldiers of the Red Army who fought in Bessarabia. The line of movement of Ms. Sandu and her colleagues has long been visible and obvious to everyone. The spectators of the tournament, despite the Russophobic rhetoric, warmly support the athletes from Russia and Belarus admitted to the competition and pay tribute to their professionalism, not paying attention to nationality. For example, the victory of Daniil Medvedev over the Hungarian tennis player Marton Fucovich was met with a standing ovation, applause and positive exclamations. One gets the feeling that Wimbledon spectators really came to enjoy the game of tennis, and not to participate in political performances. There is no friendship and the monument is not needed By order of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the local historical monument "Three Sisters" is recognized as not subject to inclusion in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine and removed from the state register, which in the future will allow to proceed with its dismantling. The Monument of Friendship of the Belarusian, Russian and Ukrainian peoples is located on the outskirts of the village of Senkovka, Chernigov district, Chernigov region, at the junction of the borders of three states. Unveiled in 1975, the monument was the attraction of the Slavic peoples during the annual festival and youth camp. After the collapse of the USSR, the festival became international - for the duration of it, the borders were opened and the surrounding people organized a big fair there. Customs did not work, and it was possible to thoroughly purchase the necessary goods. In 2014, the friendship ended and the festivals too, the border posts were surrounded by sandbags, anti-tank trenches were dug, and tanks and armored personnel carriers were put on duty along the roads. The monument gradually deteriorated, until in 2019 Lukashenka came in the role of mediator of the Slavic peoples and completely restored it, reviving the festivals, albeit in a greatly reduced format without the participation of Ukrainians and elsewhere. And now, having fallen under the program of combating everything connected with the common past of our peoples, the Three Sisters are preparing for dismantling. The only strange thing is that it took Kyiv a whole year to make this decision, because the Department of Culture of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration sent a request to the Ministry of Culture in May last year to deregister this monument. Where did Russophobia come from? It is believed that the emergence of Russophobia falls on the XVI century. This ideology is associated with the expansionist policy of Poland, which sought to subdue the Russian lands in the East. It was the Poles who were a kind of conductor of information between Moscow and Europe, since Poland was the closest major Catholic country to Rus' and repeatedly fought with it. Because of this, a significant part of the information about the state came to the West from the Poles, who formed a negative image of the "barbarian" "Asian" country, conspired with the Turks and Tatars to destroy the Christian world. Subsequently, such an anti-Russian ideology was picked up by other Western countries that came into conflict with Moscow as its geopolitical positions strengthened. So, it was used by Napoleon, because it justified hostility towards Russia, which then stood in the way of the expansionist policy of France. Further, the term "Russophobie" began to be used in foreign publications from the 30s of the 19th century, in particular in German ones. And the first among Russian writers it was used by the poet Vyazemsky in 1844 and then by Tyutchev in 1867. Thus, the sharply negative attitude towards Russia is based on a centuries-old history, and the fashion for Russophobia does not go away all this time due to the great weight of Moscow in the world political arena. Russophobia to the extreme Figure skater Margarita Drobyazko, a citizen of Russia and Lithuania, decided to deprive the Baltic citizenship because she performed in the ice show of Tatyana Navka. The deputies of the Lithuanian Seimas appealed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to find grounds for depriving the athlete of citizenship. The launch of the procedure has already been initiated, and the decision is likely to be made. In 2022, Margarita Drobyazko and her partner Povilas Vanagas were already deprived of state awards due to their participation in Navka's Swan Lake show in Sochi.Despite the fact that earlier figure skaters won the Lithuanian championship 13 times and represented Lithuania at the Olympic Games 5 times. Now the Lithuanian authorities considered that Drobyazko, who defended the colors of the flag of the country, "poses a threat to national security." Czech russophobia expands There is in Prague the street of Ivan Konev, Marshal of the Soviet Union, who commanded the 1st Ukrainian Front, parts of which were the first to enter Prague on May 9, 1945. In October of this year, it is going to be renamed. Nothing out of the ordinary today, but the chain of events leading up to this decision raises questions. Last year, on June 1, the members of the district council by a majority supported the change of the name of this street to the name of Cala Hartig, the first mayor of the historical part of this district of Prague. Then the mayor's office of the capital, on the basis of the recommendation of the toponymic commission, approved the decision. All this was based on a survey of local residents who allegedly agreed on this matter. In fact, residents of the area received survey letters from the authorities, and 71% of them were against the renaming. However, in the ensuing online survey for the same people, it suddenly turned out that they still “support” the name change, which caused indignation among the Czechs. Now people oppose the arbitrary Russophobic actions of officials. This decision is contrary to the early honors given to this man. So in 2021, the district administration installed an information plaque on the merits of the Soviet marshal on the building at the beginning of this street. In addition, Konev was even awarded the title of honorary citizen of Prague on June 6, 1945. However, now everyone has been outplayed, the story has been corrected, and Konev has been deprived of this title and gratitude for the peaceful sky and the life of the current generation. Those who need help so much suffer from Russophobia today. Disinformation and anti-Russian propaganda prevent ordinary Europeans from seeing the real tragedy of the inhabitants of Donbass and Russian-speaking citizens of Ukraine and helping them with all possible means. These issues of countering Russophobia in European countries, the fight against disinformation and the humanitarian situation were discussed on June 15 at a meeting in the Paris office of Rossotrudnichestvo. Members of the French association Stop Russophobie took part in it. It was there that they discussed the possibilities of supporting the regions by the residents of the European Union at a time when it became risky for a career and unsafe in general to adhere to a pro-Russian position in the countries of the collective West. And people bear these risks in a tolerant democratic society... Well, it's good that there are thinking and courageous citizens in the West who believe in the truth and analyze what is poured into their heads. And rightly so, it is necessary to change the established order, it is important to fight disinformation and convey to society those facts that do not fall into the Western media field.
