Dear Irisians, we have several updates: ### IrisEarn Following suspicious behavior detected on our staking platform, we temporarily paused the contract to protect our investors. However, we received several requests for unstaking and staking. The suspicious activities were linked to the urgent withdrawal feature. We have reactivated the staking contract while temporarily disabling the urgent withdrawal option. Additionally, we have developed an improved version of the staking contract that includes new features and new security barriers. You have all seen that this cycle is atypical, but it also helps the application train on all possible scenarios. --- ### IrisToken Price on CMC and CG You may have noticed that the prices shown on CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko are not representative of those on PancakeSwap. This is because on Tokpie — the first platform that listed Iris — the price had remained stuck at $0.003. We don’t know why CMC and CG keep bugging with this price: sometimes they pull the price from PancakeSwap, sometimes from Tokpie, which creates price oscillations both upward and downward. We have no control over prices on Tokpie: it is entirely driven by supply and demand in their order book. For example, if someone places a buy order at $0.01 and there is no seller on the other side, the displayed price will be $0.01. That’s simply how order books work. --- ### What is the team working on right now? We are currently finalizing the new staking contract as our top priority. The latest IrisApp scan reveals that several projects have stopped their development activities, likely due to budget shortages caused by the absence of an altcoin season. This puts these projects at high risk: if their budgets are depleted, the respective teams may be forced to tap into their token reserves to cover expenses which would be harmful to the token prices. As a result, these projects will be temporarily deactivated due to the current level of risk. If development activities resume, we will proceed with relisting them. In the coming weeks, Premium users will receive notifications about the affected projects. The ecosystem is currently infected at an unimaginable level.
