PHL472 (PHILOSOPHY) Seminar — Important Notice for 400-Level Philosophy Students Attention, all 400-Level Philosophy students who have not yet presented their seminar. Please read and follow the instructions below. 1. Submit 3 seminar topics You are required to submit three seminar topics. Each topic should focus on a philosopher. 2. Include your details Send the following details together with your three topics: * Full Name * Matriculation Number * Study Centre * Active Phone Number * Active Email Address 3. Where to submit Send everything to the Department’s email: philosophydepartment@noun.edu.ng 4. Deadline Friday, 21st August 2026 Please submit before the deadline. 5. Topic allocation After the submission deadline, the Department will allocate a seminar topic to each student. The topic given to you will be the topic you are expected to study and present on the seminar presentation day. 6. If you submitted before If you submitted your topics before, you must submit them again during this new submission period. However, if you have already presented your seminar, you do not need to present again. 7. Check your email After submitting, check your email regularly. Also check your Spam or Junk folder in case the Department’s email goes there. 8. Important information Only students who submit their three topics before the deadline will be assigned seminar topics. The email containing your allocated topic will also include information about: * PowerPoint slide submission date * Seminar presentation date * Other important instructions 9. It will help you avoid unnecessary mistakes and pressure. 🎓 *1️⃣ TMA IS STARTING TODAY* * According to the date showing on the e-Learning portal, the TMA is scheduled to open around 11:59 PM, meaning the TMA officially starts today. *2️⃣ DON’T RUSH TO SUBMIT* * The fact that TMA is starting today does not mean it is ending today. Please, do not be in a hurry to submit anything. *3️⃣ YOU CAN CHECK THE QUESTIONS FIRST* * If you are not prepared, you don’t have to attempt the TMA immediately. You can open it, check the questions, and leave. You can return to it later, provided you have not clicked SUBMIT. *4️⃣ YOU DON’T HAVE TO FINISH AT ONCE* * Once you start a TMA, you are not necessarily required to complete it immediately. You can answer some questions, leave, and return later, as long as you have not submitted it. *5️⃣ BE CAREFUL WITH THE SUBMIT BUTTON ⚠️* * Once you click SUBMIT and your score is displayed, you generally cannot go back and retake that particular TMA. *6️⃣ WHICH COURSES HAVE TMA?* * Most examinable courses have TMAs.
