And if I'm buried under a tree,
I want the world to remember me.
If not my name, then my poetry.
I want my fingertips inked in blue,
And my diaries filled with poems for you.
I want them to know of every tear I've shed,
To read my pain in the words I've bled,
I'd bleed in ink, not red.
So if I ever have to go,
I'll leave my heart behind
I'll pen down my mind
Between the lines, in poems of every kind.
