I was in the pharmacy and a guy met me, he told me he needed a something to increase the size of his penis. He had spent hundreds of thousand on different herbs and creams, none worked. He only lost money. He then said he doesn’t know if I have something for him, that his girl is complaining about it. I told him I will be honest with him, there is no tablet or cream one would use right now and increase the size of their penis. It doesn’t work that way. Once one gets to a particular age, you penis stops growing. The only thing you can work on is how strong and solid your erection is and how well you perform, those are in your power to control, but you see penis size, genetics majorly determines that, it’s out of our hands. He was a bit down but he thanked me for my honesty. Got somethings and left. Don’t let them scam you. Penis enlargement cream, tablets, oils, herbs etc do not work. I repeat, they do not work.

3. Other checks: Do you wash the vagina with soap?❌ Do you spray perfume on the vagina?❌ Do you make use of feminine wash or spray?❌ You don’t need those things. They can predispose you to recurrent yeast infection. 4. Do you engage in certain sexual practices? Some people watch harmful things on screen and emulate those things, e.g., putting ice cream in the vagina. Putting ice cream in your vagina is a bad practice, it creates an environment for yeast overgrowth. Like I mentioned earlier, yeast thrives in sugary environments. Don’t engage in such sexual practice, as it is very bad for your sexual and reproductive health.

2. Antibiotics check: Using antibiotics in every chance you get (i.e abusing antibiotics) predisposes you to yeast infection, how? Antibiotics clears both the good and bad bacteria, in the end, the bad ones grow faster than the good ones, this over growth predisposes you to yeast infection. Also, it’s important you know that, you don’t use antibiotics for yeast infection. Antibiotics are mainly used for bacterial infections not fungal infections. Yeast is a fungus as such antifungals are used. Don’t self medicate. See your healthcare provider for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.

A woman kept treating yeast infections after yeast infection. One day she visited a pharmacy and met a pharmacist. She complained bitterly about the issue, he asked her certain questions, the answers she gave pointed him at a certain direction, he told her she needed to run a blood sugar test, she did and it happened that her blood sugar level was high. She was diabetic and that was the major contributing factor to the recurrent yeast infection. Once her blood sugar level was controlled, the yeast infection stopped recurring.

If you experience recurrent yeast infections, something is wrong. There’s something you’re not checking—something you should look at that you haven’t. 1. Check your blood sugar level: As a woman, being diabetic predisposes you to recurrent yeast infection as the excess blood sugar is a wonderful medium for yeast to grow.

Bottom line: 1. Immediate itching after sex doesn’t prove you have contracted an infection from that very sexual encounter. 2. It takes days to weeks for an infection to become symptomatic. 3. If the itching persists and is followed by things like discharge, seek medical help.

In two of this instances, something to handle the allergy is just what you need not to go on and abuse antibiotics. Where you should be concerned is if the itching persists, it becomes severe, it is accompanied by discharge, or is pain then you need to rush to the hospital.

Sexually transmitted infections have incubation period which can take days to weeks. If you start itching immediately after sex, these are likely the culprits: 1. The condom: Some people are sensitive to latex which is the material used in making condom. This can result in allergic reaction like itching among others. Solution: Best: use condoms that are not latex based. Might help: Use a better quality. Condom brands pass condom brands. Some brands have well made and smooth condoms, you have less friction, and less chances of reaction i.e less sensitivity to the allergy. 2. Allergy to the semen: Yeah, it’s possible you’re sensitive to that particular protein or the one from that particular man. 3. You have a pre-existing infection, and the sex served as a trigger: Like I pointed out, it takes days to weeks for some infections to show symptoms, if you start itching immediately after sex, there is 99.99% chance it’s from a pre-existing infection whose condition for getting active has been fully and duly met.

You had sex with someone and minutes after the extracurricular activities, your vagina starts itching you. You conclude immediately that you have contracted infection already. Aunty, it is not like that, “infection” doesn’t get active in seconds.

A man came with his wife to the pharmacy. He told me he has this reaction around his neck, and he has used a particular triple action cream, but when he stopped using it the reaction (rashes) continued. After certain questions, I found out that he was reacting to a particular necklace he uses. Anytime he uses the necklace, he experiences that. I myself I am familiar with that particular experience. He then asked me what should I do or what will you recommend? I told him it is very simple, since there is a reaction, it means there is a trigger. The trigger here is the necklace he is using. The best and straightforward solution here is to stop using the necklace. As I said this, it seems like his wife was waiting for it, lol. She said “yes”! And gave me a thumbs up. I went on to tell the man about a personal experience I had as well, also, instead of suppressing the allergy or reaction, why not remove the causative? The man looked at me, looked at his wife and told me, “eh, I have heard you, but what can I use for the rash”? The way he kept his face, I barely held myself from laughing 🤣 So yes, trace the root cause and eliminate it, that’s how you really get free. Thank you.

I attended to an elderly woman today, she said she wanted Lofnac (diclofenac) and Ibucap (main ingredient, ibuprofen). I started explaining to her why she is not supposed to use both of them together. Yes, they both handle pain, but they belong to the same class, and they have same side effects. When you take them together, you multiply the side effects. You have a higher chance of developing ulcer, and also considering her age, more strain will be on her kidneys. She listened to my advice and got one of them instead.

Not every thing needs you to take medications. Sometimes, all you need is more fluid intake, more rest, proper stress management, more vegetables, fruits, exercise, workout. And you will be good.
