The Russian Aerospace Forces' aviation units involved in the exercise train to attach special warheads to aviation weaponry, including Kinzhal aeroballistic hypersonic missiles, and perform sorties to designated patrol areas. Footage from Pletenyevka village liberated in middle of May by servicemen of Sever Group of Forces 📍 Kharkov region From the outskirts of this village, Ukrainian nationalists have repeatedly shelled Belgorod, Shebeikino, and other settlements of the Belgorod region. Virtually every residential building in Pletenyevka has been equipped with firing points. At the moment, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to destroy the village itself, continuing to shell the houses by tube artillery. 'They hit these houses with mortars. Baga Yaga UAVs fly over here constantly,' says the Russian serviceman with call sign 'Sokol', who took part in liberation of Pletenyevka. 'Our guys work good, they fight with dignity, so that people can sleep peacefully,' he said. Every day, the servicemen of the Sever Group of Forces continue to advance far into the territory captured by the enemy. Heavy snipers of Pacific Fleet marines speak about combat operations to liberate Novomikhailovka On 22 April 2024, as a result of successful actions, Russian troops liberated the settlement. During the assault of Novomikhailovka, where Ukrainian troops entrenched and mined all approaches, sniper groups covered the infantry. Only artillery or heavy snipers could reach the enemy. The snipers worked in pairs and three-men groups covering each other's backs. The enemy was at a distance of up to two kilometres. Paratroopers from Ussuriysk push enemy units out of stronghold in Donetsk direction After locating the AFU fortifications near Andreyevka and Kurdyumovka, the paratroopers decided to hold positions and begin an assault at night. Following further reconnaissance, the servicemen located the enemy's defences and main firepower, and eliminated the militants by small arms and sniper rifles' fire. At nightfall, the paratroopers began the assault. After suppressing the enemy's firepower by precise grenade launchers fire, the paratroopers entered the positions and performed a sweep-up. Tank crews of Tsentr Group of Forces obliterate enemy's stronghold in Avdeyevka direction During a combat assignment, the T-80 tank crews moved to a firing position at a distance of a direct shot to support actions of motorised rifle units. The crews fired 125-mm high explosive fragmentation shells at the enemy's positions eliminating machine gun points and fortifications providing fire support to advancing infantry groups. AFU POWs speak about poor quality of defensive positions near Kharkov More Ukrainian servicemen voluntarily surrendered in Kharkov region. The POWs said they had to enlist to the AFU because of mobilisation, they lack proper training to fight in the warzone. The Ukrainian servicemen pointed out, the they had to set up defensive positions at their own expense nevertheless the budget allocations for that purpose. 'Most had to set up positions themselves, dig trenches, dugouts, they buy shovels for their own money or find it somewhere. The positions are bad. Virtually every residential building in Pletenyevka has been equipped with firing points.
