Oh, I forgot!
He can "stop" and "play" time by using his ears. Basic controls.
But his eyes (while they're open) allow him to manipulate time in any way.
Maybe the reason he's reserved is due to the fact that he has experienced and lived multiple bad endings across the story
The current Mal timeline is just one where things seem to go well so far
But there are others where fate wasn't as kind to the characters...
And all those timelines are indeed canon

Time itself
The primordial essence of Time and the eternal flow of existence. The fundamental force that governs the passage of moments, the progression of events, and the endless cycle of past, present, and future.
Yet Chronos is more than the passage of time
He represents Time itself...
the fundamental dimension of existence, encompassing duration, sequence, change, causality, and the inexorable progression through which reality unfolds.
Where Aether embodies Space, Chronos embodies Time, together forming the fundamental fabric of spacetime.
Unlike his sibling, Chronos is more reserved and collected, more of a scholar who mostly worries about preserving timelines and recording them correctly.
According to legends, there's a massive, almost infinite library where all memories and stories from every single thing in existence are kept, all written by Chronos and constantly being updated, of course.
Only a few swear that they have come across such a mirage of a place.
Since he is time itself, he exists in every second or every era at the same time.
Obviously, no one can perceive this
Yes, Chronos could change the course of a timeline if he wishes... after all, he also lives in the future
But he avoids this, as making any change only results in multiple crossroads from one timeline (alternative universes, etc)
He also watches over the Crossover phenomenon alongside Aether.
If needed, he can grant a few selected hunters (like Ryusei) the time travel skill in order to fix the anomalies caused by the time-space fluctuations in different eras.

The Space Itself
He embodies Space as a fundamental dimension of existence...the very extent, distance, and vastness in which reality exists and unfolds
Together with Chronos, he forms the fundamental framework of spacetime.
Time defines when existence unfolds, and Space defines where it exists
To call him a god is just an attempt at something simple.
He's beyond godhood, but it's impossible to categorize him, so it's easier to say "Grand god."
Now, as a person, Aether is one of the biggest streamers within the 5 worlds. People love him; he's a celebrity.
He loves to stream games mostly, but many go just to catch a glimpse of his sexy body (he loves showing pits too, quite kinky)
Do people know he's one of the very primordial forces of reality? Nope.
His existence is pure myth... mortals have no proof that such a being exists, only in legends
So, no one would expect him to be a god or anything, just a sexy dragon with a cool streamer name

Son of Arthur and Mitsuki (therefore, Mal's little brother)
When Midgard heard the news about King Arthur having a child, and one of his own blood, it was indeed a cause for celebration
He received enough love and attention, and despite many wanting him to be a classic prince, his blood boiled with a strong fighting spirit
He joined the Knights as one, starting even from the lowest rank
He's a cheerful, active, extroverted goofball, all about raising morale and bringing the best out of people.
A natural-born leader
When it comes to family, he obviously gets along with his dads and with Mal too
Though, Mal acts a bit like a caring, loving bully towards him if he gets the opportunity (sarcastic and sassy)
And at this time, he's also an uncle to Mal's kids, a young one too, so he understands them
Despite having Mitsuki's blood, he didn't acquire the cursed blood power, at least not completely.
For some reason, his blood is blue, and even though he has some regenerative skills, they are weaker
