So! I am having one of the best experiences of my exchange so far - I am in Hawaii! I am feeling so blessed and thankful to God. I am happy that my fabulous host family gave me such an awesome New Year present to spend all the winter break in Hawaii! Okay, there are two things that surprised me in Hawaii! Firstly, I thought people did not live in this place; I mean, I assumed there were only temporary tourists. Secondly, there are a lot of East Asian people (Japanese, Korean, Chinese). My expectation was that I would meet a lot of international tourists (not just American but French, Arabs, Italians, Scandinavians, Russians and so on). However, I am discovering and enjoying so many things right now even if it is already 12:43am. If I stay up two more hours, I won't be sleeping for a day. I am so excited about tomorrow (well, today 12:45am) since I haven't seen how Hawaii looks like in daylight. So, yeah! I am just enjoying my life and keep being thankful for all the blessings provided by God. Alhamdullilah! P.S. I am taking a lot of videos and photos. My contents for YouTube will skyrocket pretty soon!
