Learning from Gandhi ji Incident happened during rail journey- Gandhi was seated in the first-class compartment, as he had purchased a first-class ticket. A White person who entered the compartment hastened to summon the White railway officials, who ordered Gandhi to remove himself to the van compartment since 'coolies' (a racist term for Indians) and non-whites were not permitted in first-class compartments. Gandhi protested and produced his ticket, but was warned that he would be forcibly removed if he did not make a gracious exit. As Gandhi refused to comply with the order, a White police officer pushed him out of the train, and his luggage was tossed out onto the platform. This humiliation made him an activist to fight for his rights. Being an activist, he developed the strategy known as Satyagraha (truth-force), in which campaigners went on peaceful marches and presented themselves for arrest in protest against unjust laws. The ability to change is more important today. We are living in a dynamic environment, where things are changing at the speed of light. To succeed, you have to embrace change. The latest buzzword is that you need to pivot your career or your business implies that even the things we might consider to be immutable facts are, in the long term, impermanent. The Potato, The Egg, And The Coffee Beans A boy named John was upset. His father found him crying. When his father asked John why he was crying, he said that he had a lot of problems in his life. His father simply smiled and asked him to get a potato, an egg, and some coffee beans. He placed them in three bowls. He then asked John to feel their texture and then fill each bowl with water. John did as he had been told. His father then boiled all three bowls. Once the bowls had cooled down, John’s father asked him to feel the texture of the different food items again. John noticed that the potato had become soft and its skin was peeling off easily; the egg had become harder; the coffee beans had completely changed and filled the bowl of water with aroma and flavour. Moral of the story Life will always have problems and pressures, like the boiling water in the story. It’s how you respond and react to these problems that counts the most!

King Bruce and the Spider King Bruce and the Spider Story Once upon a time there was a king in Scotland. His name was Robert Bruce. He fought many battles. Once he was defeated. He ran away from the battle field. He hide himself in a cave. There was a spider in that cave. It was trying to reach the roof of the cave. It failed again and again. After every fall, the spider tried again. It did not loose heart. The spider reached its web in the seventh attempt. The spider taught King Bruce a good lesson. It filled him with new hope and courage. He left the cave and gathered his forces. This time he fought bravely and was successful in making his country free. Moral: Try, try again till you succeed.

मकड़ी की सीख (Moral of King Bruce And Spider Story) एक बार दो राजाओ के बीच युद्ध छिड़ गया। उनमें से एक राजा पराजित हो गया। वह जंगल की ओर भाग गया। उसने एक गुफा में शरण ली। विजयी राजा ने उसका पीछा करने के सैनिक भेजे। वह उसे जान से मार डालना चाहता था। पराजित राजा बहुत बहादुरी से लड़ा था। पर उसकी सेना थोड़ी थी। शत्रु की विशाल सेना ने उसकी छोटी सी सेना को हरा दिया था। मजबूर होकर अपनी जान बचाने के लिए उसे जंगल मे भागना पड़ा। वह बहुत दुःखी हो गया और हिम्मत हार बैठा। एक दिन उदास होकर राजा गुफा मे लेटा हुआ था। तभी उसका ध्यान एक छोटी-सी मकड़ी की ओर गया। वह गुफा की छत के एक कोने मे जाला बुनने का प्रयत्न कर रही थी। वह सरपट दीवार पर चढ़ती। बीच में जाले का कोई धाागा टूटता और वह जमीन पर आ गिरती। बार-बार यही होता रहा पर मकड़ी हिम्मत नहीं हारी। वह बार-बार प्रयास करती रही। आखिरकार जाला बुनते-बुनते वह छत तक पहुँचने मे सफल हो गयी। उसने पूरा जाला बुन-कर तैयार कर दिया। राजा ने सोचा, “यह रेंगनेवाली नन्ही-सी मकड़ी बार-बार असफल होती रही, लेकिन इसने प्रयास करना नही छोड़ा। मैं तो राजा हूँ। फिर मैं प्रयास करना क्यों छोड़ दूँ। मुझे फिर से प्रयत्न करना चाहिए।“ उसने दुश्मन से एक बार फिर युद्ध करने का निश्चय किया। राजा जंगल से बाहर निकलकर अपने विश्वासपात्र सहयोगियों से मिला। उसने अपने राज्य के शूर-वीरो को एकत्र किया। और शक्तिशाली सेना खड़ी की। उसने पूरी ताकत से दुश्मन पर चढ़ाई कर दी। वह वीरता पूर्वक लड़ा। आखिरकार उसकी विजय हुई। उसे अपना राज्य वापस मिल गया। राजा उस मकड़ी को जिंदगी भर नही भूल सका, जिसने उसे सदा प्रयास करते रहने का सबक सिखाया था। शिक्षा -असफलताओ से जूझनेवालों को एक दिन सफलता अवश्य मिलती है। ( Use such stories in Essay introduction)

Colonel Sanders Sanders was born in 1890 in Henryville, IN. When he was six years old, his father passed away leaving Sanders to cook and care for his siblings. In seventh grade, he dropped out of school and left home to go work as a farmhand. Already turning into a tough cookie. At 16, he faked his age to enlist in the United States army. After being honorably discharged a year later, he got hired by the railway as a laborer. However, he got fired for fighting with a coworker. While he worked for the railway, he studied law--until he ruined his legal career by getting into another fight. Sanders was forced to move back in with his mom and get a job selling life insurance. And guess what? He got fired for insubordination. But this guy wouldn't give up. In 1920, he founded a ferry boat company. Later, he tried cashing in his ferry boat business to create a lamp manufacturing company only to find out that another company already sold a better version of his lamp. Poor guy couldn't catch a break. It wasn't until age 40 that he began selling chicken dishes in a service station. As he began to advertise his food, an argument with a competitor resulted in a deadly shootout. Four years later, he bought a motel which burned to the ground along with his restaurant. Yet this determined man rebuilt and ran a new motel until World War II forced him to close it down. Following the war, he tried to franchise his restaurant. His recipe was rejected 1,009 times before anyone accepted it. Sander's "secret recipe" was coined "Kentucky Fried Chicken", and quickly became a hit. However, the booming restaurant was crippled when an interstate opened nearby so Sanders sold it and pursued his dream of spreading KFC franchises & hiring KFC Workers all across the country. After years of failures and misfortunes, Sanders finally hit it big. KFC expanded internationally and he sold the company for two million dollars ($15.3 million today). Even today, Sanders remains central in KFC's branding and his face still appears in their logo. His goatee, white suit and western string tie continue to symbolize delicious country fried chicken all over the world. If you're overwhelmed by rejection or discouraged by setbacks, remember the story of Colonel Harland Sanders. Fired from multiple jobs, ruined his legal career, was set back by the Great Depression, fires and World War II, yet still created one of the largest fast food chains in the world. हरलैंड सैंडर्स दोस्तों एक लड़का था जिसका नाम हरलैंड था, उसके घरवालों से उससे बहुत उम्मीदे थी, की वो अपने लाइफ में कुछ न कुछ जरूर करेगा। जब वो 5 साल का था तभी उसके फादर की मृत्यु हो गई, और उसके बाद 17 साल की उम्र में उसने अपनी पढ़ाई छोड़ दी। यहां तक की उसे 4 जॉब से निकाला गया हुआ था। 19 साल की उम्र में वो पिता बन गए लेकिन जिंदगी ने उससे ये सुख भी छीन लिया गया, यानी की उसके बेटे की मृत्यु हो गई। उसके एक साल बाद पता नहीं उसकी ओर 2 बेटियां भी उसको छोड़कर चली गई। 22 साल की उम्र में उसे कंस्ट्रक्शन के काम से भी निकाला गया, उसके साथ ही जब उन्होंने आर्मी को ज्वाइन किया तब उनको आर्मी से भी सस्पैंड कर दिया गया। 34 साल की उम्र में उन्होंने नया काम करना शुरू किया, लेकिन उसमे भी वे फैल हो गए। 40 साल की उम्र में पेट्रोल पंप पर चिकन बेचने का काम शुरू किया लेकिन उसमे भी उनको असफलता मिली। उसके 10 साल बाद उन्होंने अपना खुद का रेस्टोरेंट खोला जिसमे आग लग गई। उसके बाद उन्होंने उसे दोबारा से खड़ा किया और आखिर 65 साल की उम्र में उन्होंने अपनी खुद की कंपनी शुरू की जिसका नाम Kentucky fried chicken (KFC) था। दोस्तो 65 साल की उम्र में एक उम्र जब सब लोग रिटायर्ड हो जाते हैं, और इस उम्र में लोग दुबारा से उठने से हार मान लेते है। उस उम्र में उन्होंने अपने चिकन प्रयोग के साथ एक ऐसा बिसनेस खड़ा किया, जो आज दुनिया के 120 देश में हैं। उनके आज दुनिया में 20000 से भी ज्यादा केएफसी रेस्टोरेंट है, और 23 अरब डॉलर से भी ज्यादा उनकी एक साल की कमाई है। इसीलिए दोस्तो never give up, इस इंसान की विल पावर देखिए, उसने कभी भी हार नहीं मानी और अंत में उसको सफलता मिल ही गई। आपकी कौन सी कोशिश आपको बहुत ज्यादा आगे तक लेके जायेगी, ये आप नही जानते हैं। इसीलिए कोशिश करते रहिए आपको सफलता जरूर मिलेगी।
