🟡اهم الاسئلة الريتن اللي ممكن تيجي ان شاء الله
ربنا معاكم ان شاء الله🤍.
■ Def of CPR
- life saving technique used in medical emergencies when heart stop beating or stop breathing to provide blood supply to vital organs
■ importance of CPR :
- Allow blood supply to vital organ as it replace Cardiac pump function
■ site / rate / depth of compressions ?
- Site : lower half of sternum at center of chest
- rate : 100:120 per min
- depth : 5 cm (not more than 6) ( 2 : 2.4 inches
■ when should you stop CPR ?
- when you are exhausted
- professional health provider tells you to stop
- patient develops signs of recovery
■ Signs of recovery ?
- waking up
- moving
- opening eye
- breathing normally
■ what should we do with unresponsive patient with normal breathing ?
- Call EMS then put him in recovery position and be aware to start CPR at any time
■ what should we do with unresponsive patient with abnormal breathing ?
- Call EMS and start CPR immediately
■ when you apply compression only CPR ?
- in case of suspected Respiratory infection
■ importance of AED ?
- analyzing patient's heart rhythm
- give electrical shock if needed
■ Why should we give unresponsive infant 5 breaths before CPR ?
- because Respiratory problems commonly cause cardiac arrest
لو فى حاجه تانيه ممكن تيجي مش مباشرة ف هى تعريفات زى
■ compression only CPR ( Hands only CPR)
- CPR without rescue breaths in case of suspected Respiratory infection as we apply chest compressions only with rate 100 : 120 per min
■ Effective rescue breaths:
- Chest rise (inspiration) and fall (expiration) when giving rescue breath
■ Cardiac arrest :
- state of unresponsivness with absent or abnormal breathing with or without pulse
■ AED :
- Easy to use medical device used to analyze patient's heart rhythm and provide electrical shock when needed
◾️Describe cycle :
-30 Chest compression alternate with 2 rescue breath for 2 minutes and then check pulse and rythm of patient
◾️Value :
-Allow adequate blood supply to vital organs like heart and brain as brain start damage after 4 min and irreversible damage after 10 min
◾️Characters :
-Unsuccessful CPR
Ischemic injury
Poor blood perfusion to organs

◾️Result of AED may be(shockable patient ) or (non shockable patient)
