The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for September 2025 will still be published today (12:30 UTC)
Main reason:
🖤 The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has called back several essential employees temporarily to process and analyze the raw data collected before the shutdown. Since most CPI data for September was gathered before October 1, it remains largely unaffected.
CPI is a key indicator for measuring inflation, heavily influencing market sentiment ahead of the Fed’s upcoming interest rate decision
