Regarding Wafy's case, there have been some efforts by the victims, although updates are scarce. Here’s a summary of the actions taken: 1. Volunteers' Visit: A few volunteers visited Wafy's parents' house to check if she was there and to inform her parents about her actions. However, the volunteers did not gather much information since Wafy has also cut off contact with her family. They obtained her parents' and sister's phone numbers to stay updated on her whereabouts, but as of today, there are no new updates. 2. Police Reports and Legal Action: Victims were advised to file police reports against Wafy in hopes that multiple reports might prompt the police to locate her. Some victims were also advised to file tribunal cases in court to summon Wafy and demand repayment of the scammed amounts. Personally, I attempted to file a police report, but it was rejected because the police thought that it is trivial case and not worth taking 🥲 I was unaware that the police cannot reject a case until some members of the victims' group informed me. I haven't filed a report yet because my week has been extremely hectic. I get home at 10 PM every day since I am both studying and working. There's only so much I can do, and at this point, I feel like I have lost hope. Wafy has completely vanished, and no one has any information on her. She remains mysterious which should have raised doubts for everyone who purchased from her. Apparently, she has been doing these kinds of ‘scams’ since her days at IIUM. Initially, I was very doubtful of her because she had no proof of her purchases, and even when asked, she did not provide any. Despite this, many people, including myself, trusted her because she had a large following, and all our previous items had arrived without problems. So, naturally, we just trusted her—until this happened. I am truly sorry that this has happened to all of us. I, too, am a victim, as I bought a few personal items from her, but to no avail. She is gone, and I don't think we will ever find her. I don't know what other actions can be taken besides following the law (tuntutan tribunal, filing a report etc. These are all the updates concerning wafy’s case and according to what i have gathered from the group.
