+7This is an opinion piece from the political editor at Crikey - a publication that probably had the most vehement and visceral hatred of Morrison of almost any news outlet online. The fact this is from them speaks volumes for where the media is now getting to.
There are two main points from this.
One, this is such a consistent and systemic issue in Labor over years you would have to be dumb as a box of hammers to think the Premier just had NO IDEA about any of it, ever.
Secondly, the last slide is the best.
All those who screamed and railed at Scott, Gladys or anyone else about corruption (which was not inaccurate) but is totally silent now is a disingenuous skidmark on politics and one of the main reasons the system is so f**ked because people can't apply standards of conduct equally.
It's then left to the more sensible swinging voter that doesn't have the mental handicap that is hyperpartisanship to attempt to keep some kind of balance in politics. We can only hope that balance swings against the swampy incumbent govt in November the same way it did in May.

| 3 |  BREAKING: Victoria Police has issued an apology letter to Rebel News Australia Journalist Avi Yemini for multiple wrongful arrests and unlawful detainments whilst he was on the field reporting in 2020 and 2021. The apology comes on the back of Supreme Court Action by Avi Yemini and Rebel News against Victoria Police.

| 4 | Thereās an argument going around that the increase in actual deaths in 2021 of 8,706 is due to lockdowns, not vaccines.
The state by state breakdown shows that those states who locked down the most had the lowest percentage increase in deaths, namely Victoria and NSW.
Queensland and Western Australia had the highest increase in deaths but fewer lockdowns.
In the short term lockdowns cause fewer deaths because of a lower accident rate.

| 5 | Today the Federal government has decided to approve the use of anti-virals. Note the cost of these for the government is $1,000 even though under the PBS scheme they are for sale for $6.
Iām not sure what the name of the anti-virals are but itās worth noting Pfizer makes Paxlovid an antiviral tablet. It didnāt stop Fauci from getting Covid and he had also been vaccinated twice.
It was approved on just two trials involving 3,084 patients, yet showed less improvement than Ivermectin.
Pfizer also sells Remdesivir, after announcing an agreement with Gilead to manufacture it.
Iāve heard from a number of people that have seen their loved one deteriorate rapidly and eventually die after being given Remdesivir. Not saying it was the cause of death but the use of it seemed to go against medical advice.
This is despite the fact the WHO recommended AGAINST the use of Remdesivir.
This includes Frank, the husband of Nada. Frank was given Remdesivir upon first being admitted to hospital late last year. This is despite the fact that Frank had a recent history of acute renal failure.
Nada or Frank did not give informed consent to use Remdesivir.
Frank was also on a ventilator.
The Department of Health advised against using Remdesivir without informed consent or if a person was on a ventilator.
In fact Franks hospital records have 57 pages of drugs including paralyzing agents, fentanyl, midazolam and others.
While the story of Frank isnāt necessarily representative of everyone that goes to hospital you do have to wonder how medicines are being administered in this country and whether or not Big Pharma is doing more harm than good.

The scheme has now been suspended, pending investigation. Pink batts 2.0.
Thanks to everyone who replied to that comment box trying to source a fridge.
After many discussions with people who had the fridges that were getting dumped, the vast majority didn't even work properly and were incapable of getting colder than 6-8Ā°. Food safety regulations in Aus typically require 1-5Ā° storage temp.
Given the majority of people replying clearly needed/wanted fridges to store perishables this seemed like a recipe for disaster so made the decision not to post the names.
If this scheme gets cleaned up and re-opened I will do some posts about how to contact the suppliers that are listed by the govt and far less likely to give people a fridge that may accidentally ruin their business.
For now though, congrats the govt just wasted even more of our money (what's new) and god knows how much waste was created on fridges that aren't even fit for purpose. | 0 |
