- "طالبة طب تتعرض لذبحة صدرية داخل قاعة الاختبار"، و"طالب طب ينتحر بعد أن أتمَّ دراسته"، و"طالب طب يتخرج وهو يعاني حالةً نفسيةً"، و"طالب طب يتعرض لإغماء أثناء الاختبار"، و"طالب طب يتخرج وقد أصبح على حافة الانهيار النفسي"...
كل هذه الأخبار نسمعها يوميًّا وبكثرة، خاصةً بين طلاب الطب. وللأسف، لقد رأيت مثل هذه الحالات عدة مرات، وهذا ما دفعني إلى الكتابة عن هذا الموضوع بحرقة.
لذلك، فإن كلامي لن يتغير:
الضغط الذي نعيشه كطلاب طب أصبح أمرًا يستحق الوقوف عنده. سنوات طويلة ونحن ندخل الاختبارات، ونشاهد بأعيننا حالات خوف وذعر تصل أحيانًا إلى الإغماء. طلاب ترتجف أيديهم، وزميلات يبكين أثناء الامتحان، وكل ذلك بسبب اختبارات تُوضَع أحيانًا بطريقة معقدة للغاية، وكأن الهدف منها تعجيز الطالب لا تقييم مستواه العلمي.
دعوني أكون صريحًا: أقسم بالله أن لا شيء يستحق أن تحرق أعصابك من أجله. لا امتحان، ولا مادة، ولا دكتور. صحتك أهم، ونفسيتك أهم، وحياتك كلها أهم من أي درجة.
يا أخي، إن الرسوب في مادة وإعادتها أهون بكثير من أن تدمر صحتك أو تخسر نفسك.
وللأسف، هناك من يتخرج وهو يعاني اضطراباتٍ نفسيةً، وهناك من يعاني قرحةً أو قولونًا عصبيًّا بسبب الضغوط المتراكمة.
رسالة إلى أولياء الأمور
خففوا الضغط عن أبنائكم قليلًا. فليست كل درجة مقياسًا للنجاح، وليس كل انخفاض في الدرجات دليلًا على الفشل.
أبناؤكم بحاجة إلى دعمكم وتفهمكم وكلماتكم الطيبة أكثر من حاجتهم إلى التوبيخ والمقارنة. فالضغط الزائد قد يكسرهم من الداخل وهم صامتون.
رسالة إلى بعض الدكاترة
الامتحان ليس ساحة لإثبات الصعوبة، ولا منصة لاستعراض التعقيد. دوركم أن توصلوا المعلومة وأن تقيّموا الطالب بعدل، لا أن تختبروه تحت ضغوط تفوق طاقته.
خففوا قليلًا، وراعوا أن وراء كل ورقة إجابة إنسانًا له ظروفه وتعبه ومخاوفه.
ليس خطأً أن ندرس ونجتهد، بل هذا هو المطلوب، لكن الخطأ أن نصل إلى مرحلة الانهيار بسبب ورقة اختبار. والخطأ الأكبر أن يكون ذلك نتيجة ضغوط زائدة من النظام التعليمي أو من بعض الممارسات التي تجعل الأمور أكثر صعوبة مما ينبغي.
وأتذكر نموذجًا رائعًا للدكتور صالح باحاج ـ حفظه الله ـ حين كان يضع في أحد الاختبارات سؤالًا يقول فيه: "ابتسم فقط... ولك درجة."
وفي المقابل، هناك من يظن أن هيبته تكمن في إرهاق الطالب وإرباكه، فيسعد عندما يراه متوترًا، ويرتعش صوته أمامه، ثم ينتقص من درجته مهما كانت إجابته جيدة، فقط ليظهر للآخرين أن لا أحد يستطيع الحصول على درجة عالية في مادته.
قد يظن أن ذلك قوة شخصية أو هيبة أكاديمية، لكنه في الحقيقة يخسر احترام طلابه، ويترك في ذاكرتهم أثرًا سلبيًّا لا يُنسى ..!!
