My deputies, England again offered its assistance in summer of 1939, to numerous states and countries claiming that Germany intended to invade them and Rob them of their freedom.
The German reich and its Government could with a clear conscience, assure them that these were mere allegations which did not in any way correspond with the truth.
What this other world has in store for us is clear. If anything this war points to the fact that gold is fighting against work, capitalism against people and reaction against the progress of humanity! Then work, the people and progress will be victorious!
And beyond this, we cherish the hope that the hour will come someday when reason shall again reign supreme and peace return.
