#Cardiovascular_System:- :- 🔴 Myocardial infarction (MI) or Heart Attack:- Is acute ischemic necrosis of an area of the myocardium. 💉 وهنا الفرق بينها وبين الـ Angina في الـ Angina تحدث Reversible ischemia to the myocardium. 💉 اما في الـ MI يحدث لدينا Irreversible damage and necrosis to the myocardium. 💉 والـ MI تحدث Due to imbalance between coronary blood supply and myocardial demands. (يقل الدم الواصل لعضلة القلب بسبب الـ Ischemia في الـ coronary artery). ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 💉 وكما ذكرنا في الحلقة الماضية IHD is so common 1.5 million patient in united states في كل عام يموتون بسبب الـ MI, ثلثهم يموت حتى قبل أن يصل إلى المستشفى. 💉 لذلك الوقاية خير من العلاج وتحديدا في الـ IHD. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 🔴 Etiology of MI:- 💉 وكررنا هذه المعلومة كثيرا في الدروس الماضية, أن أسبب الـ IHD هي نفسها أسباب الـ Atherosclerosis. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 🔴 Clinical diagnosis of MI :- * Based on:- 1- Symptoms. 2- ECG Changes. 3- elevation of specific cardiac enzymes. 1- Symptoms:- - Anginal pain. - Sweating. - Dyspnea. - Sometimes vomiting and nausea. Patient may comes with cardiogenic shock. 2- ECG Changes:- Mainly ST segment elevation. 3- Elevation Cardiac Enzymes:- Increase the level of Serum cardiac enzymes is a great evidence of MI. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 🔴 Complication of MI:- 1- Papillary dysfunction:- Ischemia to papillary muscle lead to papillary muscle dysfunction which then lead to MITRAL REGERGETATION 2- Pericarditis 3- Thromboembolism. 4- Cardiac arrhythmia. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 🔴 Management of MI:- - MONA. - Beta blocker. - Thrombolytic therapy.
