*Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel."*
Satan doesn't want you to succeed. Therefore, there are things you need to engage in to resist him and all his works.
You must know that there is time for war and time for peace. Therefore, you must know when and with whom you need to make peace or war with.*Ecclesiastes 3:8*
*Luke 22:31-32 And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift [you] as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to [Me,] strengthen your brethren."*
Every attack that the devil throws at you is to make your faith fail because the devil knows that the moment your faith is intact, you will come out of that attack.
*2 Corinthians 5 :17*
The day you receive Jesus Christ , you became a new creation. Within you, you were reproduced after Christ who never lost and will never lose.
That is why God has so much faith in you as a believer that He even allows the devil to come to you because He knows you have what it takes to overcome him. His confidence is that if He overcame everything in this world, you too will because you carry Him *John 16:33*
Remember, He is the one who chose you and gave you all the authority to walk in victory that He paid for on the cross.
*Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.*
Whatever authority you need is in your obedience to the instructions of God that is, your obedience is key to exercising authority.
What you overcome is what God gives you authority over. Disobedience is very costly and kindly stay away from it.
There are dimensions of warfare, that is warfare in the soul, body and spirit. *2 Corinthians 10:3-6, 1 Peter 2:11, Ephesians 6:10-18*
What gives you victory is the armor of God.

*Sunday 7th July 2024- Second service*
*Matthew 17:1-8*
Jesus took Peter, James, and John up on a high mountain for them to see His other version.
As He was transfigured, Moses and Elijah appeared to them and they wanted to add them on Jesus.
The problem we have in the church today is that we are trying to see and add 'Elijah' and 'Moses' to Jesus. Many people begin well (hearing Jesus) but they end up hearing 'Elijah' and 'Moses'.
As we journey in life, we shall have lots of encounters but we ought to keep our eyes on Jesus. May God help us not to add anything or anybody to Jesus that we may finish well.
*1 Corinthians 1:12-13 [12] Now I say this, that each of you says, "I am of Paul," or "I am of Apollos," or "I am of Cephas," or "I am of Christ." [13] Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?*
We must keep our eyes on Jesus, the main man who died for us because anybody who takes their eyes off Jesus will start drifting away from the truth.
John the Baptist had been with his disciples but when He saw Jesus from a far, he told them;
*"Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29*
John the Baptist meant that they should take their eyes off him and look to Jesus. We don't need to prove a point, our lives, ministry should show and reveal Jesus.
*John 16:7, John 16:14*
One of the primary assignments of the Holy Spirit is to reveal Jesus; the visions, words of prophecies, miracles etc are all extracurricular activities that must have Jesus at the end point.
Everything that the Holy Spirit brings our way for example family, career, ministry etc is for the purpose of Jesus finding expression and not man. *John 3:30*

The woman broke the alabaster flask because she had a revelation of Jesus. The Holy Spirit reveals Jesus to us that we may waste ourselves on Him and in return, He advertises us.
The people in the book of *Matthew 7:22-23* used Jesus' name to advertise themselves. May God help us to use our lives to reveal Him rather than ourselves.
Remember, it is the Holy Spirit that takes what we are doing and gives it life. This is why Jesus told the disciples to wait for the Promise of the Father because He knew that it would take the Holy Spirit to fulfill the commission He had left them with.
Waiting on the Holy Spirit doesn't necessarily apply to only the preacher man but also those in the business, career world, family etc; our greatest help comes to us when we yield to the Holy Spirit.
