It's remarkable how many benefits have been linked to sunlight, most of them are still not known about. For example: •Avoiding sunlight doubles your risk of dying (and getting cancer). •Healthy light dramatically improves academic performance (and classroom behavior). •Animals exposed to full spectrum light are much more productive (e.g., chickens lay more eggs). •Many people have experienced dramatic improvements in chronic health conditions like arthritis or diabetes once they fixed their light exposure (e.g., by changing their glasses). However, because the sun has no lobbyist, all we hear about is how the sun causes skin cancer and very little knowledge exists in regards to how exquisitely sensitive biological systems are to trace amounts of life.
