Very Open-contemp style today but I hope it was a good push ✌️ I utilised a lot of isolations and consecutive movements from one to another followed by a slow breath at the end of every movement phrase. If you have never used breath in your movement before, i hope that you could find pockets of time to feel that breath. In life when we go thru hard times, take pauses and breathe along as well and trust that we can figure things out. ☺️ That’s all for my replacement classes for this Aug. It’s been awhile since i’ve had the open class feeling so thank you all so much for being here. Todays class we tried going the clean run and the unclean run, and i feel both has its merits and with that, we can really explore how we want to move our bodies. It’s really nice to witness how u guys take and react to my prompts of tensing sharp clean movements compared to relaxed and more fumbly ones. Hopefully you are able to find one that u feel better doing and keep pushing with that. 💪 JIAYOUS everyone in your own dance journeys and I hope to see some of yall around at classes. 😬
