“One of the most beneficial qualities for a servant (of Allah) is attributing the problems he encounters to himself.
If someone offends him, he tells himself: "It must be penance for my sins."
If his wife wrongs him, he tells himself: "Perhaps this is a punishment for looking at an immodestly dressed woman or joking with a female colleague. You sought pleasure through Haram (illicit) means, and now you are deprived of the halal means. Had you refrained from Haram, Allah would have cast love and obedience in your wife's heart."
If people insult or wrong him, he thinks: "Perhaps this is retribution for accepting praise for something I didn't do. Didn't I withhold the truth to bask in the praise? Or maybe I wronged someone, so Allah allowed others to wrong me."
If he speaks the truth, and people misunderstand or misinterpret his words, he is distressed and says: "Perhaps I've been remiss in night prayer or in seeking help from Allah alone, so Allah left me to myself, to remind me of my vulnerability and utter dependence on His Help, and that the eloquence and abilities He granted me would fail if Allah didn't decree their acceptance in people's hearts."

Ponder over the Qur'an often.
This will increase ones Imaan.
In shaa Allah.

What do you do when your Imaan is low (to get it back up again)?

And nothing in this world brings comfort to the one who has tasted the sweetness of Imān and then lost it, nor does he find the taste of tranquility except through repentance from what has occurred.
That part which desires purification will always struggle with it. It is like the one whose heart was illuminated after a bitter darkness, and his land tasted a sip of water after a long drought, only to have it all taken away from him at once.
And this analogy remains insufficient to fully capture the meaning, for the taste of Imān within hearts cannot be equaled to anything.
Narrated Abu Mas’ud al-Ansari:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If one recites the last two verses of Surat al-Baqarah at night, it is sufficient for him (for that night)."

May Allah make us amongst his sincere slaves.
So, when the Quran is recited, listen to it, and be silent that you may receive mercy.

The way he derives lessons from their lives so that we can implement them in ours is amazing, haven’t even finished the series yet and I have benefited a ton.
