The Struggle Within: The Three Types of Hearts 1️⃣ A Sound [Healthy] Heart [القلب السليم]: A heart devoted to Allāh alone. It: ❖ Loves, hopes, and relies on Allāh. ❖ Forgives others for His sake. ❖ Controls anger and desires for Him. ❖ Shows humility and kindness to all. 2️⃣ A Dead Heart [القلب الميت]: A heart enslaved to desires. It: ❖ Seeks only self-pleasure. ❖ A slave of its own desires. ❖ Chases wealth, even through ḥarām means. ❖ Lacks faith and sincerity. 3️⃣ A Sick Heart [القلب المريض]: A heart torn between truth and desires. Mindsets & Principles from the Sīrah of The Prophet Mohammed ﷺ Chapter: Start of Revelation 💡Mindset No.1: Knowledge is the foundation of change. True transformation begins with learning and understanding the religion. 📚 Sīrah Example: The first command from Allāh was "Read!" This shows that knowledge is the foundation of personal and societal change. Before anything else, the Prophet ﷺ was commanded to read and learn in the name of Allāh. Qur'ān: "So know [O Muḥammad ﷺ] that Lā ilāha illā-allāh [none has the right to be worshipped but Allāh] and ask forgiveness." [47: 19]. ❖ Allāh began with knowledge first, and then ordered that after the attainment of this knowledge the seeking of forgiveness comes. He does not test you except to protect and save you. Fallen Tyrants: The Power of Allāh's Justice "The Quraysh once threw camel intestines onto the back of the Prophet ﷺ as he lay in prostration, mocking him while his young daughter Fātimah wept, wiping away their cruelty. He got up and said: 'O Allāh! Destroy the chiefs of Quraysh.' Years later, those same tyrants were struck down at Badr, defeated by the very truth they had ridiculed. Do not be deceived by the power of today's oppressors, for the Du'a of the wronged never go unheard. When Allāh, the Most Just, responds, no fortress will shield them, no throne will save them, and no army will protect them. The same Lord who gave victory to our Prophet ﷺ will grant victory to every believer who struggles in His cause. A Heart That Sees Good, Spreads Good ”Those who cannot see good in others often become quick to judge and blind to mercy. But a true believer is different, our faith teaches us to search for goodness, to make excuses, and to pray for those who stumble rather than rejoice in their fall. We do not mock, nor envy, nor belittle others because we know that the one we look down upon today may surpass us tomorrow in closeness to Allāh. Jannah Is Not Earned in the Comfort Zone “Shayṭān doesn’t always whisper to sin openly, sometimes he weakens us with ease and comfort of this Dunya. He makes us content with just existing, whispering that there is no urgency to strive for Allāh, that others will carry the burden, that we have earned our rest while the Ummah suffers. But Jannah is not for those who remain in their comfort zones. It is for those who strive, who sacrifice, who stand when others sit, and give when others withhold.
