| 16 | Ok, that might have been kind of sloppy, I don't like using my time to explain elementary shit about flat earth! So I typed it out quickly. But everyone should be able to understand it. And as far as the eclipse, the moon passing in front of the sun proves nothing. Oh, lunar eclipses? Not 100% sure, could be a black sun. But I do have a video somewhere of a flat earth using a computer to demonstrate what he thinks might cause the lunar eclipse. We really do have an answer and explanation for almost everything. So next time you see a globetard say "dur dur dur flat earthers can't answer this question" and it's always some elementary question that any flat earther can answer 🙄

1: Sunset/sunrise
The sun is local, approximately 2,000 miles up, and rather small, 76 miles wide. Well anything that moves across the sky, as it moves further and further away it appears to sink. There are plenty of videos of the sun setting completely, gone, out of sight and being brought back into view with a high powered camera.
2: Boats disappearing behind the curvature.
Once again, get a high powered camera and you can bring the boats back into full view
3: The seasons
The sun moves in a trajectory between the north pole and as days, weeks and months pass it slowly makes its way closer to the south pole.
4: Time zones
That's really stupid because it's self explanatory 🙄 The sun moves across the sky, taking it's local light with it, those closer to the sun are obviously at a different time of day 🤦♂️
5: Tides
I'm not 100% sure, some flat earthers believe something else. But I think the sun's magnetic pull is what causes the tides, because water is magnetic. So as the sun circles above it pulls the oceans.
6: Are the other planets flat too?
The heliocentric model has NO place in the flat earth (geocentric model). The other "planets" are just luminaries/lights. They look nothing like NASA shows us. You can get a telescope and see that with your own eyes. The moon, translucent, another thing that you can see with your own eyes. Many times you can see the sun and moon in the same sky with the moon at different phases, thus proofing the earth doesn't cast a shadow on the moon.
7: Well why do rivers flow south?
Not all rivers flow south, some flow north, such as the Nile!
8: Why has nobody fallen off the edge?
Because 1, the base of the firmament is at the edge, and nobody is allowed to self explore it, below the 60th parallel is strictly off limits and heavily guaranteed by multiple countries military. The edge is better known as "Antarctica". What's on the other side of the firmament? According to the Bible, heaven is.
9: But Eratosthenes proved the earth is a globe by using two sticks
I'm just not even going to say anything 🤦♂️ Believing that sticks and shadows prove earth is a globe is down right ignorant. Btw, the same formula works on a flat earth with a local sun 🙄
10: Well why does the moon and sky look different to people in the southern hemisphere then the northern hemisphere?
Do I really need to explain that?? Ok, put a sticker on the ceiling, have one person stand on one side of the room and you stand on the other, the sticker looks totally different to each of you.
11: Well why's the stars rotate clockwise for people in the northern hemisphere but counter clockwise for people in the southern hemisphere
Another ceiling example. Turn a ceiling fan on and stand on one side of the room and have a friend stand on the other side across from you. One of you will see it as moving clockwise and the other will see it as counterclockwise.
11: Well how do ships circumnavigate the world
East and west is not a straight line. The north pole is the center of earth. So as you start traveling around the world, the compass is constantly pointing towards the north pole (center of earth), so it leads you in a circle. Same with airplanes. And the earth is so big, slight turns to the left or right isn't even noticed.
12: Everyone at NASA would have to been in on the secret
Wrong, have you ever heard something called "compartmentalized"? It's really pretty simple 🙄 Example, does a cat Walmart know what the CEO does? No they don't. Hell they don't even know what managers do. Only the top dogs and "astronauts" at NASA know about the deception. | 153 |
